I had a 23 hour layover in London, and was planning to be in the area, so this hostel was a good, inexpensive option. Front desk staff were super friendly, the rooms and bathrooms were clean. It's conveniently located about a 12 min walk from the Canada Water tube station.

I would've liked to see more room to put your stuff, especially when using the bathroom. Bathrooms are shared, but still, you need a hook or something to hang your towel, or a place to put your change of clothes when you shower. I had to put my clothes on top of the toilet seat cover and place my toiletry kit on top of the toilet paper dispenser. The water pressure in the shower was weak and it took forever to shower because the water was just like a spray. Also, halfway through my shower, the light turned off and I had to shower in the dark.

Wifi turned off when we needed it to check where to buy tickets, asked lady where to buy metro tickets and told canary walf station and woman even said seven minutes walk up road was not a metro station and no tickets, had machine and ticket office in the station. Maybe the lady wanted us to take the ferry to go across the river to the other metro station? My wife even asked twice same lady who said twice no metro up the road. Was left very confused 😕🤔 10am was to soon to check out needed to be 11am like other places be nice.

This hostel is modern and spacious! I really like the water bottle refill station and the spacious lounge area with lots of comfy couches and tables and places to charge my phone. I like the big glass ceiling which let's in lots of natural light. The staff are super amazing! They kindly printed out my plane ticket for me. I liked how spacious the room was, and the shower was nice and the locker was spacious. Although the neighborhood is a bit far from the more touristy parts of London, it is really nice neighborhood with lots of lovely trails along the water, and the C-10 bus stops right in front of the hostel. There is a nice little neighborhood grocery store about a ten minute walk away. I also really like how the staff are there to help 24/7.

The shower in my particular room took a while to drain. This isn't always the case because I stayed here twice and the first time I stayed here the shower drained perfectly. I felt the kitchen was a little small and slightly lacking in some kitchen equipment. I like how there's a free food shelf in the kitchen, but I kind of wish there was a reserved "free" section in the fridge as well. These aren't reasons to avoid this place though, as it was excellent value and I would come again.

I really enjoy staying here when the opportunity arises. I was very appreciative of the hostel reserving me a lower bunk due to my bad knee. The room was very clean with a very comfortable bed, hot shower, more than adequate security cage underneath the bed and plenty of hanger space. Good ventilation.The very efficient lifts here are a blessing. Downstairs there is plenty of space to relax. Only a 10 minute walk directly up from Rotherhithe Station. Members of staff are always very helpful. I will certainly come here again though perhaps towards the end of the year when it is less busy.

We booked a 3 Bed Room with attached bath, and it comprised of a bunked bed, with single bed upstairs. The rooms were reasonable sized, clean and quiet at night. Plenty of Amenities like shared kitchen, Bar and games etc. The Location was very easy to find and the river Thames is just a few yards away. It was very cheap for London, that is the biggest advantage.

Overall the experience was good, but two things -shared kitchen was small and crowded, and needed a little more ventilation -blanket for double bed felt a little small for two people.

I traveled with four children on my own so, security and safety was my utmost priority. So I found it so secure. Just few minutes away from Rotgerhidth and Canada water underground. Most of the buses go direct to central london and other location without change. Spacious room for our family of 6 with private toilets. Very economical particularly in early January. Each and every thing was lovely and enjoyable. Staff was so so good and polite. 24 hours reception. Affordable Breakfast. Not noisy at all due to may be sound proof walls. Very clean self catering kitchen. Our room window has Canary waft view as well on a side. Outside roads also look safe as I always arrived late in the evenings. Found a pub also near by.

There is only one stool in the room to sit. And one hanging rail for coats for 6 people. There were 4-5 cloth hangers on the stand though. That could have increased but was not a serious issue. A quiet area, i am not sure if there is any grocery shop in vicinity, as I didn’t came across.

Loved the location - very close to central london but quiet, beautiful area. The facilities were great - felt clean and safe. We booked a 4 bed room which was spacious - ours had en suite wetroom with shower. . A magical cleaning fairy came and changed our bin and cleaned our shower room each day. Breakfasts were great with happy staff.

The kitchen and lounge were a bit small and cramped- but still were able to cook some of our own meals. The reception staff were fine but not super warm and welcoming.

I love the location. And the service. The atmosphere was peaceful and cosy. Although we checked in very late in the evening, we left for a little walk crossing the southark bridge which gave an amazing view of the other side of london. We couldnt help ourselves but chilling in the lounge with a cup of coffee. What a relaxing experience we all had. As a family of 10, rooms provided to us was just beyond words of self- expectation. Will highly recommend

The Location is the best for someone who wants to discover the BIG London. It is close and accessible to multiple transportation options, in a quiet and safe area, and a clean and well-equipped hostel.

Checkin was so bad for two reasons: The man in the reception wasn't treating people kindly, with a strict face and fast delivering the instructions without caring whether you understood him or not. The second thing was the checking/out timing were so bad so if you arrived like me at 12:00 pm tied of flights you had to wait till 3 pm which is frustrating ( I understand the cleaning process) but a big project requires a big staff, in addition to that, was the check out at 10:00 am while most tourists spend late nights in the amazing london.
