The rooms have been refurbished since we visited a couple of years ago. Comfy room, with lovely sea view. Breakfast was delicious, and dinner on one of our nights was also tasty. Easy flat walk into the town.

the walls remain thin and neighbours talking in their room, children shrieking etc. frequently disturbs the otherwise quiet and peaceful ambience. Parking was difficult - one of the staff gave up their space for us as the parking area was full.

Could have done without the posy, self centred head-waiter, who was so unbelievably up himself that he never had an eye for the guests. But other than him the staff were welcoming and wonderful.

The hotel is overlooking the seafront, with plenty of space in the car park. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Both of our bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious, with access to the patio. We would definitely stay again.

We would have preferred an open time slot for breakfast rather than having to book for specific time.

Everything was perfect. The Australian sounding receptionist who I believe was called "Georgie" was extremely helpful, friendly and super efficient and is a credit to the lovely hotel. Similarly the blonde lady who took our breakfast orders was also very nice and helpful. Sea Views through the huge picture windows were great to look out at breakfast time.

One or two of the make bar staff in the evenings were a little less friendly and sullen but more than made up for the quality of the food which was first class.

Beautiful location on the sea front. In a quiet location with easy access to small town. Exceptionally clean property, rooms large and well furnished and warm. Comfy beds. Walk in shower and plenty of hot water. Good breakfast cooked to order from quite an extensive menu. Staff helpful and friendly. Evening menu good and food delicious even if rather expensive. Comfortable lounge area in the bar and good range of drinks. Happy hour is 3pm to 4pm which is rather strange.

There is no lift to upper floor but stairs easy to manage. Most patrons had dogs with them and they were not allowed in the restaurant area. Guests took their meals in the lounge area.

The bathroom was nice and clean with a powerful shower; nice toiletries provided. The bed was comfortable. The food at breakfast was good quality and served quickly. There was plenty of free parking on-site. The nearby spa which you can access for free as a guest of this hotel was a great bonus to our weekend away. It was very clean and we had unlimited use of the spa facilities during our stay. Great location, only a short walk into town.

There was a notice in the room asking us not to change the thermostat setting on the radiator. For most people and for most of the time that wouldn't be an issue but it just felt like a stingy request; I don't want to be too hot / too cold and uncomfortable when I'm paying ~£150 / night to stay somewhere. The staff didn't seem happy to be there. Whilst they were polite they weren't friendly and certainly didn't waste their time on pleasantries with guests.

This is a really nice hotel in a wonderful location practically on the beach at Seahouses. The staff were all really friendly on arrival and breakfast. We had a pet free room upstairs which felt newly decorated and was in good order. My only feedback was it would have been nice to have a luggage stand in the room but it's not a show stopper. Breakfast was served quickly and food was excellent. For someone like me who likes to eat not surrounded by dogs I like the no dogs policy in the restaurant. We only had a one night stay but I would definitely return and maybe upgrade to a seaview room next time.

What an amazing location for this hotel, looking straight out over the sea to the Farne Islands! And a five minute walk to all the amenities of Seahouses with the lovely bars, shops, restaurants and beaches. Hotel was lovely and clean, very well furnished. Bar area was very nice. Staff were very helpful and friendly. A lovely breakfast set us up for our day in Northumberland. All very pleasant, would certainly stay again and for longer next time. We don't have a dog but was very dog Friendly.

Only one thing was our room was very warm, but was a little better when we opened the window.

The staff were very friendly and the facilities me and my son used during our stay were faultless. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfy. I liked the fact that the hotel is just down the road from Seahouses centre so it is quite whilst being 3 minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and harbour. The food at the hotel is also very nice.

The only thing I can slightly complain about is that most of the menu in the restaurant is seafood related. Obviously this is a personal opinion but I'm not a massive lover of seafood so I found the selection a little limited.

Immediate arrival impression was very positive. No struggling with luggage through a small door, just a lovely wide automatic door through a very attractive porchway. Young man on the reception was very pleasant and a little (politely) cheeky. I witnessed him engaging kindly with a small girl staying with her parents in the hotel. He showed us to our room as he did my daughter and invited us to use the bar before dining in the restaurant. The room was very pleasant, bed a little small but ok, view was stunning. We dined in the hotel and our meals were extremely good. Pleased the front lights went out before they became a nuisance (thank you). Shower was easy to use. Breakfast was amazing with a good choice. On check out the staff member was equally pleasant making the whole experience very pleasing.

Bed could have been a KS but I doubt it would have fitted, being realistic. Didn't like having to leave but our family holiday awaited!
