The bed was so comfortable! Lovely white cotton bedding. Generous tea / coffee tray. So close to the town. Very nice well appointed bathroom, shower very good, toiletries provided, big white towels. The overall presentation of the room, it has a very nice look. The building itself is very old and beautiful, again beautifully presented. Loved the stone patio and seating at the front. We did use the outdoor seating. Good use of storage/ hanging space, functional furniture. And the whole property was exceptionally clean.

Although the size of the room was on the smaller side and the traffic was noisy, the owners can’t change those things so it was fine. But I do think a 10 o’clock check out time is too early. Especially on a Sunday. Could the owners extend this?

Great location in lovely upstairs room. Huge comfy bed, lovely and clean, WiFi great, 2 minutes walk to The Plough for dinner, where we also parked with no problems. Great little terrace to sit outside with a drink in the sunny evenings watching the world go by. Fresh milk provided in fridge in the pristine hallway. Loads of places to eat nearby, breakfast at Barter Books is expensive, but the visit is worth it. Met the owner on Saturday afternoon, really friendly, looking forward to visiting again soon

We're fresh air freaks and like windows open all the time, so would request a room at the rear next time, as the road at the front is very busy. If we had closed the windows the traffic noise was barely noticeable.

The rooms were spotlessly clean and neat, and the beds were very comfortable. Centrally located for a short stay in Alnwick with great suggestions for places to eat and drink locally. The Jolly Fisherman at Crastor was excellent. Friendly arrangement with the pub next door meant we could use their car park and the food there was fine.

At the risk of sounding very picky, sachets of decaffeinated coffee would have been brilliant. Our rooms were at the front of the house on the main road and it was undeniably noisy. I would definitely go for one of the rooms at the back if I stayed there again.

The room at The Bondate Boutique was beautiful. It was spotless. It was so easy to check in with the code provided. The location was perfect. We were worried about the traffic noise and not being able to sleep, but it wasn't actually a problem, we slept so well! The bed was very comfy. We visited the Castle, The gardens, The bookshop, The town centre and the cinema which was all within walking distance. The Plough pub next door where we parked was also lovely, the staff were very welcoming. Alnwick is beautiful and the most clean and welcoming town we have been to. Thank you for making our 20th wedding anniversary so memorable. We will definitely be back.

Room was very clean and serviced each day with good facilities. The property is accommodation only with no food available. However, its location is excellent situated in the centre of the old part of the town, within 5 minutes walk of the Castle and Gardens. The Plough Inn (literally next door) allows residents to use their car part and is an excellent venue for dinner. Breakfast is recommended at Barter Books, which is situated in the old station.

Route into the pub car park was a little tight - to say the least. I cannot fault the property at all, it was extremely comfortable and far above our exceptions. Compared ti the other hotels we stayed at on our holiday, it was like staying in a 5 star hotel.

Location great . Bed very comfortable slept like a log. Everything great . Will defo book again and direct with the owners. Room 4 was very quiet. Mumbai Indian restaurant and the Turkish restaurant both excellent . Would defo recommend to others . Grannies for breakfast excellent. Staff in all 3 restaurants were excellent could not praise them enough Difficult to get Gordon’s Gin !

Towel rail in bathroom seemed to be in main heating but this was not on . Tried to put radiator on in bedroom area but this did not come on . Top shelf in wardrobe a little dusty .

Very clean and tidy everything you need for a stay (could have done with a clothes iron though if staying a while ) In a great spot if your going to Alnwick Garden only a few minutes walk away and also good for parking .In a quite area and close to a nice couple of bars . A few good restaurants around as well. Great for jumping on a bus to go to the coast or where you want. Well recommend this place .

All fine in the property, there are quite a few shops in the centre but sadly like most cities and towns a lot of vacant premises , people buying online and high property rents and rates have closed down the small independent shops of which there were lots of here .

Beautiful house. So clean and the little touches made it so welcoming. Very central for people. The girls who cleaned the house made sure we had everything we needed by asking us each day. This is so good as the owners aren't on site and by them doing this we didn't do without anything. Contacted the owner to seeing we could stay an extra night. Even though they were out the country on their own holiday they were so accommodating and arranged an extra night for us. At the age of 50 and having travelled alot I can honestly hand on heart say that 4 days in Alnwick only a few miles from home were one of the best breaks I've had. The first room we were in at the back of the property was like being in a little cocoon away from a stressful life! Thank you both!

We're doing a bit of a Wedding Anniversary Roadtrip, so I only booked two nights before moving on. My husband's first comment when we entered the room was, 'Can we stay here all week?' The room was a good size, beautifully furnished and equipped, and spotlessly clean. We'd had a long drive, with more driving to come, so it was important for us to have a day where we could get anywhere we needed to go on foot. This was ideal.

The shower doors didn't leave a lot of space to get in. Lovely shower, though!

I stayed in Tate house a good few years ago n had the whole top floor, which was very comfortable. I remembered Leo having it on his own then, n he made us feel very welcome. Bondgate boutique is also owned by Leo n charlotte. It is just across the road. This is why we tried It and we were not disappointed. The location was fab. Cleanliness was top quality. The ease of check-in n out was also great. Also, free parking abs spot on. Even though it was a tight lane. Definitely recommend both b&b's. I will defo be back again. Maybe not leaving as long next time.

I can't really say there was anything. Just some feedback, really. It would have been great if their had been a top flat sheet on the bed. As it was 22 degrees when we stayed. So, I had to take the quilt out of the quilt cover to rest the cover over us thru the night. As it was far too hot each night to have the quilt on the bed. I spoke to the cleaners to ask if they did just a top sheet, n she said, unfortunately, not. She also told me that the other room opposite did exactly the same. This would maybe be beneficial in the future.
