Stylish boutique property, with a fabulous host in Henry. Warmly welcomed and had a very comfortable, quiet and clean room on the top floor. Perfectly situated near to two great eateries and a short stroll to the beach. Elemis toiletries, gorgeous coffee and fresh milk in the room. Breakfast was superb and freshly cooked to order. Lovely outside decking area if you wanted to take a drink from the honesty bar or just read a book. Henry went out of his way to make the guests feel at home. In fact I felt like I’d been staying with a friend.

Only staying for one night, will definitely be back!

Everything! Beautiful, spacious room - tasteful and comfortable, with every facility the heart could desire. Lovely bathroom, also spacious, with a great shower and plenty of hot water. All absolutely spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were well cooked, plentiful and delicious, with a great menu to choose from, and Harvey willing to accommodate special requests. The X-factor was, in fact, Harvey and his enthusiastic co-host, Roxy (the Jack Russell/Dachshund). You couldn’t wish for a more welcoming host, with lots of advice and information on the area, which was very useful. A very entertaining and interesting person to talk to,with a great sense of humour. Entertaining and hosting is Harvey’s forté.

A fantastic adult only boutique b&b. Situated on the main street in Alnmouth. Close to the beach with lots of lovely places to eat & have a drink. We were warmly welcomed and shown around. There's an honesty bar if you just want to enjoy the beautiful rooms, and we had a lovely evening in the spacious St.Bede room. The hospitality tray was first class, with a cafeteria and good coffee. A fine selection of teas, fresh milk & biscuits. The waterfall shower and Elemis toiletries were an added luxury. The room also had a bath set into an alcove, overlooking the roof tops. Breakfast was a buffet selection with food cooked to order. We travelled by train and got the bus the following day to Alnwick. I'd recommend staying here if you're looking for something special.

To short a stay

Lovely place, so comfortable and quiet, with spacious and bright rooms, clean and fully equipped. Breakfast is superb, with lots of choice and fresh ingredients. Really enjoyed our stay, loved the cosy patio in the back and can't thank Harvey enough for being an awesome friendly host, making us feel welcome from the start, giving us precious advice on places to visit and letting us pet the adorable Roxy! Would love to come back :)

Breakfast was lovely - great choices and fresh cooked with choices of drinks and food to suit everyone. Host was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and gave good tips where to visit during our stay

There wasn’t much to not like - we have stayed in the location before so were aware of the parking but this isn’t anything that could be done by the accommodation and really didn’t(and shouldn’t) affect the stay

Harvey the host is brilliant. Breakfast was great. The accommodation is fab

I booked a stay here as it was listed as dog free. I was slightly taken aback when the plaque on the door said “we are dog friendly” Whilst not against dogs I know how free owners can be with their pets up on the bed’s etc. Just be warned especially if you have allergies. It didnot distract from our stay and who can’t like Roxy (the resident pooch)

what can I say. Harvey was a fantastic host, very knowledgeable and informative of eateries, where to go etc, the room was very spacious and comfortable relaxing. we had the St Cuthbert room and honestly it was brilliant clean comfy not too warm and we had a brill night sleep. we then woke early on the morning and took a walk down to the beach then once we got back we had our breakfast and i must say it was a lovely variety of breakfast on the menu with cereals etc for you to choose from too. honestly everything was great and we hope to come again soon for a coupe of days rather than just one night. and Roxy the resident dog is just the cutest we loved giving her tummy rubs x

Everything!! Harvey was a fantastic host, very warm and welcoming and the little touches he provided, both in the room and with his actions were really appreciative. The room (St Benedict) was a lovely, luxuriously decorated room. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfasts were homecooked and delicious, with a lovely menu selection that included quality ingredients.

That we wish we could have stayed longer!!!

Perfect B&B in the middle of Alnmouth, a lovely little village on the coast of Northumberland. The room was beautiful and luxurious, the bed really comfortable and the bathroom/toiletries first class. Harvey was the perfect host and cooked wonderful breakfasts! We wouldn't hesitate to return again when visiting the area.

The location was excellent -- charming village -- lovely for walking on the beach -- excellent breakfast -- room both comfortable and elegant -- and the owner, Harvey, couldn't have been more gracious or helpful. His place has my highest recommendation.

Nothing could have been better, except staying longer.
