The room was really lovely and clean. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was really clean and the water pressure of the shower was fab! I didn't want to get out of the shower because it was so lovely! Good location, close to Chester centre and close to Chester Zoo. Had breakfast at the neighbouring cafe which was lovely. Reserved parking bay for the room. Almost sound proof.

There were marks on the walls but there was a notice in the rooms information explaining that these were due to the paint reacting with the lime in the walls. The lighting was pretty dark in the main room, but the only issue this brought was make up application - bathroom lighting was good though!

The place was perfect for what we needed which was somewhere to sleep after a long drive, close to a work location for the next day. It was simple, quiet, comfortable, and very easy to check in and out - there was no actual human contact at our travel times but we got a friendly check up phone call prior. We only spent 9 hours there and if this was a holiday base it would ideally have more facilities, but we did not have either those expectations or requirements. There was a big comfy bed, kettle, tea and coffee, hot shower! (and lovely high ceilings!)

The room was lovely and spacious. It had just been cleaned and smelt lovely. Overall, the cleanliness was very high. The bed was huge, comfy, clean, and we had a lovely sleep. The location was great, not far from local attractions.

There was a lovely cafe on site which we were looking forward to visiting but we were disappointed to find out when we got there it didn't open on Mondays ! There wasn't any mention of this when booking. We did find somewhere else for our breakfast ( not far away ). We had a problem with our TV not working, and they sorted it out straight away. The hosts are lovely people.

Really great room, nice and easy check in and out that meant it wasnt necessary to physically see someone to check in. Great location lots of options of where to travel and parking was extremely convenient. Shower was great, food pressure and the shampoo/body wash was nice scented and didn't make my hair dry.

The TV was a bit outdated, YouTube app wouldn't work but most hotels/bnbs don't have access to this anyway so wasn't really a problem. Would be nice to have toothpaste, had to go to Co-Op to get some.

Room was very clean and tidy. Bed comfortable, Shower was excellent, Good quality hotel type modular furniture.

Room lacks any charm or character. No pictures. It's a bit stark. Easy to clean I would imagine but no spark. I was kept awake by a constant ticking in the bathroom (even with the door closed), seems like an electric meter or timer. Very irritating. Also didn't appreciate the message received at 6:30 to remind me to be out by 10:30. Do people really need reminding?

Nothing to dislike about the property. Clean and tidy with everything provided for a comfortable stay.

It would have been better for me had the café opened earlier and closed later. The one day I did get back earlier was the day the café closed early. I'm sure the times are suitable most people but for it didn't work.. Not the fault of the establishment.

The proximity to where we needed to be🤗

The lack of lighting in the property. There were no lights above the dressing table and that particular corner was extremely dark. Plus in the bathroom the bad location also of the bathroom mirror rendering it useless to put makeup on as you can’t get close enough to the mirror even with twisting your body!

Beautiful and convenient location and exterior. The inside is pretty too, however we had a few issues with stained bedding, dirty water left in kettle and hairy shower tray. We paid for a double and got a twin room but as we only stayed for one night as a stop gap between destinations on a road trip, we just dealt with it. Easy check in process, you get a message with your key code info in and you turn up whenever, this might not suit some as can feel slightly impersonal. But again as we only stayed one night, we didn’t mind. Rooms have everything you need.

I personally found the beds uncomfortable, the mattresses were too hard. Unfortunately we had a few cleanliness issues with stains on bedding, hair in shower tray and dirty water left in kettle.

The location was great for us, an onsite cafe provides breakfast but also local to other places to eat and drink. Allocated easy parking was brilliant. Rooms comfortable with everything you need. Slept very well and the shower was amazing. Loved every minute. The host was extremely helpful with advice, which we used and made our stay just right. Would highly recommend.

Room was basic but very clean. Liked the fact you could access the keys without checking in.

The cafe opening times need updating in the guest information book. It says they open at 8.00am but they don’t open till 9.00am on a Saturday & Sunday.
