Only one thing. Shower was poor. Poor water pressure and no control of temperature, it was red hot or cold.

Great location

Arrived & the apartment I booked had people in it who had extended their stay. We had to faff around for over an hour trying to contact the property manager (Alex) to tell us that he’d changed our apartment & not told us. Also the new apartment was smaller than the one I had originally booked, with one cushion cover missing from the sofa.

It had all appliances in the kitchen that you needed, It was easy to get into the building but secure. It had a tesco express across the road.

There was a welcome folder which explained things but not how to turn the heating on.

Kitchen utensils and bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. Lots of noise into the late hours and through the night from surrounding apartments.

The property was in an ideal location , very close to everything , restaurants, bars , city centre , absolutely perfect location. The facilities in the apartment were great , we cooked our breakfasts on the mornings of our stay and we had everything needed for this , from cooking utensils and pans to the dishwasher that saved time on the washing up !! Comfortable beds and pillows and a lovely sofa to flop into after exploring the city all day !

The only problem was the shower in apartment 1 , it was really hard to get a happy medium with the heat of the water , either freezing cold or too hot , however this would not stop us from staying here again , as I’m sure it could be an easy fix for the owners

The heating was not working in the apartment

the apartment was so cute just what we needed for our weekend away and the 21st birthday decorations i added onto the booking looked amazing (however for £65 i did think a little bottle of prosecco or something would’ve been a nice touch to add). the location is fantastic literally a two minute walk and you’re in the centre of chester, however the apartments are directly opposite university student accommodation flats and both nights we got woke up around 2/3am by how loud they were being but that obviously isn’t anything to do with the apartments themselves. we would’ve loved to try the room service from the cafe downstairs but unfortunately it’s closed on weekends. the apartment could do with a little dining table somewhere as one night we decided to stay in and cook but didn’t have anywhere to eat it.

The location is perfect. 10 minute car journey to Chester zoo, 2 minute walk and you're in the centre, Tesco metro across the road for essentials. The only downside for the location is that the road is quite busy and we were kept awake one night by a car alarm going off outside. The duplex apartment could do with a bit of a makeover. There were gaps in the flooring, marks on the rug in the living room and scuffs and dirty marks on the wall. The WiFi kept disconnecting which made watching a film in the evenings difficult. The sofa in the living room is a little hard to sit on, and the bed could benefit from a new mattress and duvet. Both were on the things side. The duplex offered great value for money with the location and the space inside. It was an excellent base to spend the weekend exploring Chester and we'd definitely book here again, as we still have so much to do and see. The staff, who we didn't meet but contacted via the chat function, were helpful and informative. We'd absolutely recommend staying here.

Easy check-in, on the day of arrival there was an issue with hot water, but I was able to contact the host and they moved us to a better room for the duration of our stay. The rooms are well laid out. The bed was very comfortable not too soft not too hard. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Very well located less than a 5 minute stroll into the city centre.

Honestly nothing bad about the apartment. But just a warning the apartments are across the road from a student residence and this isn't a problem but the noise early hours in the morning was quite loud.

the hallway smelled like cigarettes and the sofa had a few stains in it but other than that it was great!
