Amazing location, right in the city centre close to everything! Lovely big room with very comfy beds and great bathroom with bath and shower. It's very good value for money. Just for people's information, please do note that the entertainment at weekends is VERY loud , the hotel is very upfront about this , but we were still surprised just how loud it was, and well into the early hours! If you're looking for a relaxing, early night then it's not the place for you! If you're looking for somewhere fun and lively and at the heart of the city, it's brilliant.

The stairs area leading from the bar to the rooms lets the place down a little, in need of some tlc but it's a minor thing.

It was perfectly located in the centre of Chester Big room, very comfortable bed, in the evening, very load, but I knew that anyway, the costing for the night was value for money, with its location For a family, it would not work, because of the disco just outside, but for me, who loved it being out with my partner, so a great hotel, friendly staff at the bar getting booked in and a good sleep I had after the disco finished, which was very loud and busy, but all good

Hotel needed An up grade in the room we stayed in furnisher and painted needed But all round staff where great very helpful to sort the situation out. Bathroom lovely 😍 A bit noisy with barrels coming in early in the morning If you don't mind a bit of loud music now and a gain 😀 The perfect stay right in the center. IVE been told the hotel is haveing an up grade in the next few months Hurra 🙃

Lighting needed sorted out in room and 2 steps into the bedroom needed to be high lighted

Room was big, bed was comfortable. Provided towels and good toiletries Plenty of coffee, tea etc and a small fridge Bathroom floor had under floor heating which was lovely in the middle of the night. There was two wine glasses and a wine cooler in the room, nice touch. Close to shops pubs and resturants.

They need to put some air freshener/shake and vac in the general stairway, smelt damp and unpleasant, although did not smell in the room. The Shelly room needs a new lampshade, looks like someone has stamped on it. Main bedroom is dark and needs more lighting Looks tired, old furniture, very small wardrobe. No plug for the bath, there was a shower room and a shower over the bath.. Write up states breakfast can be ordered the night before, however staff member said the kitchen was 'broken' so no breakfast.

Lovely traditional pub with rooms upstairs. The guy who greeted us was extremely friendly, helpful and explained everything we’d need to know during our stay. The location was great, central to bars, restaurants, shopping and the Christmas markets. We stayed in the Byron suite, which was a lovely space with a seperate lounge area, bedroom and large bathroom with underfloor heating, his & hers sinks with a roll top bath and double shower. For the rate we paid this was fantastic value and we’d definitely stay here again.

Location was good , spacious rooms beautiful bathroom.

Because of weather at the it was far too warm & couldn't open all windows. I picked this room because the manager stated it would be better because the other room was over the court yard where the loud music was. But when we got there we were over the court anyway, so was disappointed in that. Also a breakfast would been nice. It was very old fashioned but expected thatbin chester.

Great city centre location, nice large room and a very comfortable place to stay with a great en-suite. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they added the extra night for me as requested I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing I can complain about since it’s a city centre location and bar with events happening every day so it can get loud at night but I actually didn’t mind it since it was comfortable and I slept really well.

Great location in the centre of Chester ,close to all bars and restaurants. We stayed on a Tuesday evening when the pub was closed ,so no live music .Very quiet and a great nights sleep on a very comfortable.bed . The room was large and clean ,lots of storage and even had a fridge . The hallway and stairs does need refreshing ,but please dont let this put you off staying here. Great value for money.

Lovely freebies in the bathroom. Plenty of tea and coffee. Central location. Parking £10 daily at Trinity Car Park on the doorstep. Only £110 for two nights midweek. A great stay. The hotel is being refurbished at the moment, but not a problem for us.

Noisy at night as there is a bar open with loud music and singing but if you want to join the party and have your room nearby, this is for you!

We knew there was music at the hotel and just as a heads up - its loud. Bar outside closes at midnight. Popular place and great view to watch people enjoying themselves without being right in the mix. We had the Bryon suite which was massive - could have had our own party in the bathroom!!

Too much bass from the DJ set - think it would have sounded better with less.
