Close the the Daintree ferry and easy to find. The rooms are all on the top floor and there’s a huge communal balcony outside each room that has a stunning view into a valley overlooking the rain forest. We watched flying fox bats eating figs while we ate breakfast and felt like we were really staying in the rain forest. Charmaine and Rob are really helpful and friendly and work very hard to make sure that their guests have an amazing time. There’s a guest lounge that contains a fridge freezer and dining equipment so that you can bring food (and wine) for your own evening meal as there’s limited options to eat out in the evening. Overall, staying at Daintree Manor isn’t just accommodation it’s a rainforest experience.

Very steep drive up to the property.

Charmaine and Rob are incredible hosts. They were lovely, flexible, and accommodating. Their place is beautiful, very well maintained, and easy to find with the white gates and week-before instructions. Rob is an incredible cook - breakfast was delicious every morning, and we were treated with fruit from their garden. Charmaine is friendly, communicative, and has amazing stories. They're neighbours with incredible wildlife and had lovely sunrises if you looked just past the verandah. We had access to a clean communal fridge, microwave, living area, couches, and tables. The rooms and ensuites were in great clean condition too. We had quite a few unusual requests as a larger Bioblitz team and they were very understanding. We had an outstanding experience staying here and recommend Daintree Manor B&B to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Breakfast was amazing and Rob and Chamaine were so accommodating. I loved everything about my stay. I expected beauty but I didn't expect the profound beauty of the area. The grounds were beautifully maintained and both Rob and Charmaine were excellent hosts. They were both warm and friendly. Rob gave us some great tips on what to see and what was too gimmicky. I would love to stay there again. The tranquillity and unplugging from most technology, especially TV was cathartic. Sitting outside in the evening listening to nature was the most relaxing thing I done - ever

Loved it all.

Conveniently located 1.8km from the ferry river crossing. Set in a lush tropical environment with beautiful trees around including some tropical fruit trees. Managed to taste some star apples off the tree. Wrap around veranda which is nice. Many colourful beetles visit which we like. Room on the small side for us but still functional for 2 people. Comfortable bed, small corner table. Adequate size bathroom with a small space to park personal toiletries. Wifi strong signal. Good breakfast. Shared large lounge with a fridge, microwave, dining table, TV. For hot water ask host to boil kettle each time but host are very accommodating. No kettle in the common lounge. Overall had a pleasant stay.

Small table in the bedroom. Having to ask host to boil kettle for hot water.

A wonderful location north of the Daintree River. A tranquil setting with gorgeous views and a lovely tropical garden that attracts some amazing wildlife. Robbie and Charmaine were fabulous hosts and very welcoming. They were very knowledgeable about the local area and provided us with some great suggestions of what to see and do. Breakfast in the morning was well cooked, substantial, and beautifully presented. We loved our four night visit and would definitely stay here again.

The hosts help you with honest and helpful advice about the area, provide highlighted maps which helped a lot and make great breakfasts with nice fresh products. 10/10 Would highly recommend! :)

We weren't prepared for the slightly steep entry of the property (due to not reading previous reviews/stay information). Therefore we had a little struggle getting up the road the first night. The second day, we had no problems at all since we were in the right gear to climb the hill :)

I only spent one night here but I left wishing I had stayed longer. Robbie and Charmaine were great hosts and super friendly. They are quite keen to leave you to your privacy but were always on hand for anything you needed and were good for the odd story about the wildlife around the property. The room was very comfortable, clean and nicely presented. The highlight though was the view from the upstairs terrace area into the hills and trees, especially in the early evening as the sun was going down. I had never seen anything like it. I would absolutely recommend to stay here if you are looking for somewhere quiet and secluded with a proper feeling of being in the rainforest. They provided a tasty breakfast too. I hope to come back here again for a longer stay next time.

Nothing, the property was perfect.

The hosts, Robbie and Charmaine, were amazing. Charmaine took the time and gave suggestions for traveling and sightseeing. All of the suggestions were bang on!! Especially the organic ice cream and the boardwalks! Breakfast was served at 8:30 and they were both tasty and filling. Beds were comfortable and a.c. wasn't needed because of the ceiling fans. Lots of hot water and wonderful views of the rainforest from the balconies. On a side note... Robbie looks and sounds like Russell Crowe!!!!

It is with great pleasure that I recommend Rate Daintree Manor based on my recent stay. Everything was impeccable during my visit. The breakfast was delightful, offering a wonderful start to each day. The room was exceptionally comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. It is evident that the staff pays meticulous attention to detail, which greatly enhances the overall guest experience. This level of care and commitment to excellence is truly commendable and sets Rate Daintree Manor apart. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay. Regards Tomas and Kaan

The view from the balcony was spectacular. It was lovely to be able to sit on the balcony and chill. The hosts were friendly and the room was very comfortable. There was a common room available with a TV and a book library. The included cooked breakfast was delicious. There are three rooms available and it was nice to mingle with the other guests but you still had your own space. The yard was really lovely to walk around. The property is very self sufficient.

A luggage rack in the room would have been useful. There was no TV in the bedroom but that was not a big deal. Breakfast is at 8.30 am which we found a little late if you are planning on exploring.
