Great location and really good restaurant., comfortable beds and good shower. Bush turkeys and scrub hens wandering around and you are completely immersed in the rainforest. We were in the accessible cabins, Escape 1 and 2 which shared a balcony with each other. Lovely and clean, each with a fridge and kettle. We ate at the restaurant (Tides) for breakfast and dinner for both days we were staying and the selection and quality of the food was very good. Well maintained pool close to the restaurant. We did Ernie's Cooper's creek cruise and the cape trib breach horse ride (both excellent) as well as three boardwalks. I wish we had had time for the fast boat reef trip, Ocean safari. Would definitely recommend staying here, it's well located and has a lovely atmosphere.

The highlight of this accommodation is its proximity to the beach, where you can go for a walk along the shore at low tide. There’s direct access to the beach from the property, and during high tide, it feels like a “private” area. The hotel offers laundry facilities (separate from the rooms), a restaurant with good service and reasonable prices, a pool, and helpful staff who gave us many great recommendations. The road to the hotel is accessible for all vehicles, and from there, a 4WD-only track begins. The overall atmosphere is peaceful. The room was very comfortable and well-equipped for a short stay. It had a small kitchenette and a table with chairs on the porch.

The laundry area was a bit neglected and dirty, and the pool had too much chlorine. I recommend bringing earplugs, as you may get a visit from Bush Stone-curlews, birds that are very loud at night and can make it hard to sleep. Other than that, nothing major to mention.

It was lovely staying in the rainforest. The room was big enough, just, because we upgraded to the family room. The smaller one would have been VERY tricky with four people and luggage. The bathroom in ours was gorgeous. I loved the giant golden orb spider.

I feel like they need to invest a bit in windows. It feels really dull and enclosed and because you share the outside space with another family no one really feels like they can use it. It’s also a nuisance that there is no phone reception at all. You can’t confirm tours or google activities. The walk up to the carpark would be a slog from the lower down units. A toaster and a microwave would make a massive difference too. The feral pigs are a shame.

We had a wonderful stay! The bed was extremely comfortable, and the blackout window blinds made for a perfect night’s sleep. The location was fantastic, right near the beach and conveniently close to other attractions. The receptionist was incredibly helpful, providing a great list of recommendations. We especially appreciated her suggestion for a night walk, which we booked and thoroughly enjoyed. She also helped with directions, making our experience even better. To top it off, we were lucky enough to see two cassowaries just outside! Highly recommend!

The air conditioning was quite noisy, and while there was a kettle, it was a bit tricky to fill in the bathroom sink. Additionally, there were no means of washing dirty dishes inside. That said, these were minor inconveniences, and the place had everything we needed for the time we were there

Cape Trib Beach house was a pleasant stop on our journey down the Bloomfield track. The Cabin was spectacular, close to beach , Bar and Pool. What else do you need. What stands out about this resort was they have everything you need. There is not a lot close by, nothing in walking distance. No Need. We didn't drive when we were here. The Beach was fantastic place to relax. Staff was great from Chef to grounds keeper. The office help us arrange a guided night hike. Very Cool.

The location was fantastic in the middle of the Daintree. Our room was very basic but the bed was comfortable. We stayed three nights and had dinner there twice and breakfast once, we enjoyed all of our meals. Julie, on the front desk, was excellent and went above and beyond to sort out tours for us. We enjoyed all of them - Ziplining, Jungle Night tour, Ocean Safari to the Great Barrier Reef and the Cooper Creek boat tour where we saw some crocodiles.

We had zero internet/phone access with Telstra which we told about and it is fine but just be aware to be prepared for that. Just a minor detail, there was no hairdryer in our room.

Stunning location in the bush but beside the beach. Almost deserted beautiful beach. Lovely communal area and pool and nice cabins with power and their own bathrooms. Friendly helpful staff.

Noisy group of people the night we stayed. Sound carries and they were up past 1am. Needs to be some sort of policy about noise past 11pm particularly from the group area. Coffee wasn't great

We loved our stay at the Cape Trib Beach House. We particularly liked the fact that the forest has been left intact and the location did not contain manicured gardens. It was a fantastic feeling to be able to go from the majestic beauty of the forest to the beach in a few steps and appreciate two worlds in the same location. We really enjoyed the relaxed feeling of the location, comfortable simplicity at its best. The quality of the food was also very good and the cost of drinks very reasonable for such a remote and exclusive location. We could not have wished for a better location for our Daintree stay. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome and at ease. Thank you, we will highly recommend it to others! :-)

Great location for exploring the tropical rainforest as the location is right next to the beach in the forest. Very friendly staff who ex0ained that they had only just re-opened after severe damage from the December cyclone but we had a great stay. Cars are parked at the top of a hill and troll eyes available to take your luggage to your chalet. We were allocated a chalet next to the restaurant and right next to the beach access - perfect! The chalet was ideal for us as a couple, large comfy bed, hot shower, outdoor covered veranda space with small table&chairs and it was useful to have a fridge in the room to store the food & drinks we had brought with us. The chalets was surrounded by the forest trees so we always heard sounds of the animals that live there. It rained heavily during the evening and night so we just used the pool - as you couldn’t get any wetter! When the rain stopped, the tide was right in so it wasn’t possible to walk along the beach but other guests had done this earlier, staying well away from the sea edge as there were warning signs about crocodiles but we knew this would be the case. We had a really tasty evening meal in the restaurant that wasn’t over-priced and the menu offered a good selection of dishes & drinks. Good value. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cape Trib Beach House and would recommend it highly.

We were concerned about the driving conditions due to reading about the cyclone damage but our concerns weren’t needed. The road was carefully marshalled and well-signed to maintain safety for drivers. We have nothing negative to say about the resort.

Excellent location, in the thick of the rainforest right next to the ocean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Loved the fact that there was no signal and that the facility had no wifi, it was a good break.

The bedding smelt damp and miff, we fully understand that it is in the middle of the wet rainforest but having fresh bedding would have made the trip to caoe tribulation a 10 out of 10.
