Location was excellent, right in the centre of town. Convenience of grocery store right next door. Establishment is a little dated but still very comfortable and well maintained. Lovely deck to sit on and relax. Comfortable seating and bedding. Shower was quite sizable with fantastic water pressure and all day hot water. Kitchen was well supplied with cooking facilities.

Strangely, the internet for the ty was sketchy, but worked ok on mobile. For a 7 night stay would have liked a change of towels and bedding.

The Apartment was perfect . Very comfortable .Roomy. Clean . It had everything I needed . It was very well situated right in the middle of the Main Street with all the Shops virtually next door . Even Coles was less than 50 metres away . Yet the Apartment was very quiet .

I got an Apartment which was up 2 sets of steps . For an 82 year old like me it was difficult to carry my Ports up . I could have asked for help , but I managed on my own . This was the only downside . There were a lot of Apartments on the level where this would not have been a problem .

Clean and comfortable apartment in downtown Port Douglas, yet it is very very quiet with easy access to Coles next door and plenty resturants choices nearby.  We stayed in a 2nd floor apartment with balcony to a lovely mountain view in distance.  Love the simple room deco which gives a relaxing holiday feel.  Property manager Jo and Garry are very friendly, our daughter even organised a surprising birthday cake for my husband with Jo's help. This is the place to chill out and enjoy your holiday in PD.

Fantastic, light, spacious apartment, in probably the best location. Very clean, great shower. Supermarket next door. Lots of chic boutiques nearby. 10min walk to quay for boat trips. The hosts advised me which day tours were best and booked them for me. Wavelength Reef snorkel tour amazing.

I had to carry heavy suitcase up 14 steps to my room, should have requested ground floor apartment. But once there, no issues

Hosts were super friendly and helpful. Always happy to help with information and bookings. Rooms were spacious, clean, quiet and comfy and stocked with all the essentials required. Small balcony was ideal for enjoying the tropical garden and drying clothes. Location was perfect. Central to shops, restaurants, wedding venue, beach and walking trails. The pool and BBQ area were both clean and totally adequate. Would recommend highly.

The stay at Macrossan House was great! The apartment is large, spacious, and has everything you need. It's bright, comfortable and right in the center of town where you're close to everything. Jo was wonderful, a very warm person with a fantastic sense of humor, she advised what to do, and where to go, and she was always there when you wanted to talk or needed something or just needed a smile or support :). Garret was also very helpful but most of the interactions I had with Jo. Overall, a person feels at home with them. Thank you for this wonderful stay!! if I could, I would stay with you longer!!!

We were pleasantly surprised by our small, studio apartment. Spotlessly clean and very functional. Wonderful location in downtown Port Douglas, so could walk to everything. Could not fault and would stay again. Very private, felt like a little oasis.

Access to our room was via the garage driveway, however this wasn't a problem and was easy access.

Very cosy! Nice size apartment and lovely balcony. Comfortable bed too! A food store just around the corner and a variety of cafes and restaurants to choose from . The owners, Gary and Jo were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our start to Australia trip so wonderful!

We loved everything.

The property is in a great location, right around the corner from a Cole’s and all the restaurants. The room had everything you needed for a catered stay, big fridge and freezer which was ideal and a lovely view to top it off. Everything was extremely clean, no faults at all, and the room was huge and the bathroom was lovely. The pool was nice for a dip after a long day walking around, especially as you can’t really go swimming in the sea. The owners Jo and Gary are the friendliest people you’ll meet and will go the extra mile to help you! Amazing people and would recommend anyone to stay here.
