Amazing cabin in the rainforest. Can’t stress enough how lovely it was. Lovely porch with a small table where you can have breakfast in the mornings and enjoy the outstanding views. We stayed in a cabin with an ensuite bathroom which I would recommend (but the lodge bathrooms were also really clean). Cabins have blinds that completely block the light, but opening them allows you to have amazing rainforest views while you lie in bed. Camp kitchen has everything you’ll possibly need (crockery, cutlery and pots and pans). Easy car access and there is a convenience store just a 3-minute walk away. Beach access is really close by, and there are two beautiful trails nearby. If you can, definitely stay here, it is a peaceful place to reconnect with nature! Highly recommend!

This place is in the middle of Daintree Rainforest and the perfect spot to explore the area. I guess normally it is really calm (while we where there, there was a music festival, what we did not know, so there there was lots of music, but I guess this was an exception). You can park in front of your cabin. The room is cozy, but very small. There was not enough space to open both our suitcases. The bed is comfy and the bathroom is really nice. There is also an AC which works perfectly well. There is also a bar where you can buy a breakie or dinner during the weekend. A small supermarket is 2 minutes away. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location behind the beach with onsite breakfast and lunch available. Three dinner options with a short drive away and one across the road. Can recommend Cape Trib Beach House for dinner. Ensuite cabin was very clean and good for our one night stay. Staff very helpful.

No glasses, cups or tea/ coffee in the room. Site caters for campers who would have this sort of thing but we weren't. A couple of cups, tea bags / coffee sachets would have allowed us to make something in the camp kitchen. Not a dislike for us but people should note no tv in the cabin and no wifi (4G worked fine)

The room was beautiful, just like the picture. My adult sons stayed in a nearby room as well. We arrived after check-in to clear directions on how to access our rooms. The lodge was in a remote location and it was a fun and beautiful adventure to get there (including a car ferry that was very easy to use - just drive up and go). We did not realize that the paved road to access the Lodge closed during the night (due to road work). We were lucky to arrive prior to closing!

Some might have been bothered by the big spider and web on the porch. We thought it was super cool and a great item for pictures! And not unexpected in a rain forest!

At the night you can hear the jungle outside it is very authentic. Nice little room, clean facilities. Very kind staff. We also ate at the Turtle Rock Cafe and the lunch was very good. Did the Mackay reef Ocean Safari tour as well, stunning, very recommended!

The room is very smelly, musty/dump, which is unpleasant, they must do something with this. In the morning before 7 am, it was some loud music coming from the reception or from the other accomodation on the opposit side. We were sad because people wanna hear the jugle sounds, not music during morning coffe.

I stayed in one of the en suite cabins in the campsite. It was very comfortable and very well laid out with a good sized bathroom. It had air-con and a ceiling fan and fridge. The shower was great and the bed comfy. Great to hear all the noises from the forest. Staff were super friendly and efficient. You can make your own meals at the communal kitchens or there is a great café at the entrance. Parking just outside the cabin. A really great experience.

All good

You spend the night in the rainforest! Hearing birds and animals sounds at night, we loved it. Strangely and luckily no bugs! We had a very nice cabin with our own bathroom and king bed. Very modern and nice inside. We spent only one night . They have tours to the reefs. A nice coffee shop. For dinner we went to the larger resort a mile north where they have a larger and pretty restaurant.

All was fine.

We stayed in the en-suite cabins. Quite small but cozy. Bathroom was great. A little wardrobe in the bathroom. Aircon and a ceiling fan. A bar fridge. Comfy king size bed. Nice outdoor seating. Very clean. It is a camping site, so it has a communal kitchen (with a big fridge, gas stoves, cooking utensils etc), laundry, a small pool. Very close to the beach and cape tribulation. Cafe onsite (we bought our coffees in the morning from there). Booking of excursions/trips too. Next door is a groceries store, other camping sites/cafes. Overall a very nice stay! Totally recommend!

Just suggestions: it would be great to add tea/coffee making and a second night table and a second little lamp in the cabins. Otherwise, all good :)

Highly recommend! We really enjoyed our stay in the Safari lodge. Small beautiful lodge in the middle of the nature. It was really clean, good location en very confortabel!

There isn’t anything that was bad or anything. But maybe good to know for traveler’s. We woke up in the morning with a cockroach in our room. I guess it is quite normal to have some insects in your lodge if you are in the middle of a rainforest.

Our room was modern and beautifully designed. Everything was clean and fresh and comfortable. The location was perfect in the middle of a rainforest close to many activities and tours.

I thought some of the staff let the place down. Particularly one of the girls at the restaurant and the girl managing the Ocean Safari booking and the guide who was very knowledgeable. They didn’t seem to have any training in the hospitality industry. Showing client interest with a smile is really pretty basic. I understand it must be difficult to find staff in remote locations but it does take away from the overall ambiance.
