Everything! Dani and Di were lovely to deal with. Beds were really comfortable. Wifi was pretty good. Smart TV, so had access to youtube, Netflix etc (nice for chilling after being out and about for most of the day). Proximity of the motel to the beach, CBD, and other things-to-do in Hervey Bay. The beach is just across the road! We went there everyday, at different times...saw thick, early morning fog; clear, blue-sky afternoons; sunsets that looked like paintings; and tons of bats at dusk just flying overhead. We enjoyed it the best when we went at around 3.30pm--the sun was out, and the water was warm even in winter, so our boys went for a swim, while hubby and I were attempting to fish. :) Truly loved our stay!

The family owners were so friendly and accommodating to my late arrival and request for kitchen facilities. Clean and a great location as you could walk across the street to the beach or to nearby stores and restaurants. The beds were comfortable with nice pillows! I liked the lighting and room setup was good for the smaller space.

The space was a little crammed for a family of four large people, with the queen bed out in the living area, but nice to have a separate bedroom with two single beds.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was simple and the parking is right in front of your room, which was super convenient. The room was the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The cleanliness was outstanding.

Everything was amazing, although the beds were a little too hard and springy or my liking and the walls didn’t block out much sound. These couple of minor critiques were nothing in comparison to how nice the hotel was for its price range and certainly didn’t outweigh everything else great about the hotel. Definitely would stay again.

The second night, a couple of families stayed and had a bit of a get-together outside our room until 11 pm. Noisy and left a bit of a mess in their car spaces. The outside tables and chairs need to be specifically spaced so they are outside each room. Our next-door neighbours sat right outside our room and smoked, which came under our door and into our room. Not nice.

I can't say enough about the exceptional service from the receptionist. From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome. They provided great local recommendations, quickly addressed any questions I had, and truly made my stay enjoyable. It's rare to find such genuine hospitality, and it really made a difference in my experience. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a warm and accommodating place to stay!

I was greeted by the lovely Dani-L who is a wonderful host. Everything you need for a stay in the Bay is available and there’s a great selection of information on things to see and do. One of the loveliest welcomes I’ve received away from home. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. Shower was lovely and hot and many of the fixtures etc. have been updated. The whole room has a really lovely feel to it.

Excellent aircon provision in all rooms and living areas. So clean. Large two bed apartment directly opposite the two bed apartment upstairs was perfect for our travelling families. Paddle board could be safely stowed away downstairs in the hallway with lockable screen door. Thanks for having us.

Pool is a little exposed to traffic and would look great with privacy leaf screening or something along the fence. Otherwise, great overnight stay.

Apartment was exceptionally clean. The apartment had everything we needed, it was extremely spacious. We felt like we had plenty of room. Check-in was smooth. The manager was friendly, made us feel welcome, she went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated. Our family enjoyed our stay at beachside motor inn and we would be more than happy to book here again in the future.

Straight across from the beach and splash park. Kids loved it. Had a pool aswell. Aircon in both rooms which was awesome for bed time. And staff were lovely and super helpful.

Only things that we didn’t like was the beds. They were so hard that we couldn’t get a good full night sleep (kids didn’t mind though) And the floors were dirty which didn’t bother us too much because we probably made them sandy aswell haha

I liked the room we were in number 16 at the end my kids were able to go out on the grass area and have a little play. And the set up of the room was good

The beds were a little bit too hard for me. And I think you may need to leave a full dish cloth not just a little piece as you can’t really do much with it. But other than that it was great.
