We had a short but wonderful stay! The hotel is spacious and perfectly located right in the heart of downtown, with super easy access to parking and all the amenities. Our room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed to feel comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibe was peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in Grand Rapids!

Great location with lots of restaurants and sites nearby. Very walkable location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I like having breakfast included in a hotel stay, and parking on site was easy and convenient.

Check-in was a challenge. There was a huge sports event going on nearby, and our room wasn't ready at the promised time. We were able to adjust our schedule with a promise of a callback in 2 hours. Alas, there was no callback. About 2 1/2 hours later, I tried checking in again and was successful this time, although the receptionist nearly downgraded my room. I understood the challenges they faced, and I was reasonable and polite, which is probably why my room issue was resolved easily. That was the only hiccup in the process. Other than that, everything went great.

Residence Inn downtown Grand Rapids was absolutely perfect! Rooms were exceptional! Breakfast was terrific ! Within walking distance to anywhere you wanted to go! We went to a concert at VanAndel and it couldn’t have been more perfect! There is a full restaurant and pizza restaurant on premise. Staff was overly friendly and helpful! A cherry delightful hotel!

Parking is a bit confusing until you check in. Parking lot directly across the street has a few spots so we got very confused until we checked in and found it was a round the owner . A sign would be helpful because there were several people that turned in and had to turn around in a very little space!

We were in town for a concert at Van Andel Arena and this place was so close !!! The location is perfect for exploring, lots of food and bar options around. The place was extremely clean and felt safe. The breakfast had a decent selection. I really enjoyed the breakfast patio area, and the coffee station as well. We are looking forward to our next stay

The only thing I didn't like at first was the parking garage, it felt very cramped but once you park, you don't need to move your vehicle until you plan on leaving. You can easily ride a scooter, bike, walk, or Uber/Lyft to places you might want to visit.

The Hotel is Perfectly Located Downtown, with Attached Parking, at a discounted rate. The Bar/ Restaurant downstairs, On site, was wonderful as well! The Rooms are all Large, Comfortable, Well Equipped, and Very Quiet. Only issue: The Indoor POOL WAS COLD, in March. We will be back. This is my new favorite downtown GR hotel.

The location is hands down the best. The room and near full kitchen was an unexpected bonus! With some special food needs, it's always a plus to be able to cook/keep your own meals. The breakfast had PLENTY of options and the food choices on the first floor (Social Misfits and Wahlburgers) were amazing! Check in was a breeze and the parking was simple (they have their own ramp), which was welcomed as it can be difficult to find parking downtown. Came to Grand Rapids for a concert at Van Andel, which is only a short walk away, and already planning our next stay :)

Great Breakfast. Will be nice when more people are aware of the side effects of "Enriched" flour that has added Folic Acid. So there were other options to avoid it. Kodiak brand is folic acid free.

It was a damp rainy day making our room cold and we failed to be able to warm it up. The bathroom walls need attention for a cleaning. Understanding the cleaning crew has limited amount of time to do so.

Very clean. Centrally located within walking distance near all the spots we went. The suite was phenomenal. The staff were wonderful. Parking was easy. We’ve stayed in many hotels in those area and the Residence Inn by Marriott is the best we’ve ever stayed at. We will choose the Residence every time in the future.

The included breakfast was really good. Lots of choices for food, plenty of room to sit and eat. The breakfast nook area was very clean. The whole hotel was very clean and modern. The rooms are the best part. I really enjoy the city view.

The lobby is technically on the 2nd floor. I would like to know this information before I show up to the hotel. Especially if there is such a small temp parking out front, and that parking is full. Being downtown makes that area congested.

The great location! Was perfect for walking to ArtPrize venues. Pool. Two fabulous bars/restaurants. Complimentary full breakfast. The suite was clean, roomy with a well-stocked kitchen, and an amazing view!

Not the fault of the property, but extremely loud motorcycles roared up and down the streets until the wee hours. Keep that in mind on warm weekend nights if you’re a light sleeper. The kids slept fine.
