The whole staff was exceptionally professional and accommodating, especially James at the front desk. Our stay was mostly pleasant at Homewood Suites: the room was spacious and clean, the hotel typically quiet, and the free Thurs. eve "apps and drinks reception" was a nice touch.

The only sub-par thing, I'd have to say, was the breakfast. For a hotel this "upmarket," this expensive; there was too little to choose from and the hot items that were available were largely unpalatable.

Location is great, walkable to many attractions. Attached parking garage. Comfortable beds. Room was very nicely decorated and exposed brick walls were a nice touch to the historical nature of thecarea/building. Breakfast area was very nice, good selection (breakfast burrito) and large and comfortable sitting area with higher quality furniture than most.

Could invest in a little higher quality toilet paper. The motion sensor light in the bathroom needs adjusting as lights kept going off while in the shower.

First.. the staff when we checked in was knowlegable, efficient and friendly. They answered all of our questions. The room was quiet and spacious. Lovely. The elevators did not work well. The scanner where you scan your room key was hard to opperate. Parking was good. The stay was fantastic.

Breakfast is from 7-10. We came down at 9:30 and almost all the hot breakfast was gone with clealy no intent to restock. It would have been nice, since we were there before 10, to have full breakfast options.

Beautiful king suite with plenty of space. Separate shower/toilet area. Check In on app. Digital room key.

Stove light and ice maker broken. We got automatically checked out at 10:45. Key works inconsistently in the app. Room is very overpriced. $76 for parking 2 days!!! Breakfast was not impressive. Coffee not great.

Convenient and clean, great location.

Major events in town so we were disappointed that the roof bar closed so early and the motion activated light in bathroom is a real nuisance. Light goes off while in the shower and movement in the shower will not turn it back on. Showered in the dark.

The location was perfect! We walked to our event at Van Andel and easily found somewhere to walk to for dinner. The hotel was a very cool mix of modern and old. The pool was great for our kids. Breakfast was great and the breakfast staff was very friendly. Fitness center was well-equipped and clean. We will definitely stay again when we visit the area.

Need more towels in the guest rooms and pool area

This is my absolute favorite place to stay in GR! So easy to get to anywhere downtown and be within walking distance! The rooms are always amazing! The staff is always friendly and accommodating!

Bar wasn't open because staff called in

I liked the room and the location of the hotel. It was central to everything in the downtown area, and you could walk to all the restaurants and places you need to get to.

Nothing that I could really think of. Overall, it was a well-rounded experience, nothing to complain about.

Room was beautiful, spacious, and spotless. Location was ideal for attending a concert at Van Andel arena. I accidentally left my jacket in the room upon checkout and the staff followed up and assured it made its way to a shipping company to get it back to me. This attention to customer service was much appreciated!

Property was downtown close to all the fun!! Ate at Sun-Dance Grill, best bacon cheeseburger. After Marlyn Manson concert ate at Barrio, best tacos!!
