Jackie and Kym were amazing hosts that looked after us and we easily became friends during our visit for work in Beechworth. Our cabin was clean and had a beautiful view of the lake, photos really don’t do it justice. The highlight was our disco shower which we loved so much thanks so much Kym lol. The caravan park is stunning and was so beautiful to come home to and wake up to with a coffee. Thank you so much Kym and Jackie we can’t wait to return.

Parking was a lil tricky with our neighbours hogging the allocated shared space however it was easy to find other spaces nearby.

Lake Sambell is the perfect peaceful spot to stay and explore Beechworth and the Indigo region. The site was clean, organised, offered great amenity, and had a beautiful outlook over the lake with a great walking track looping around it. Service was sensational. And it will be a great HQ for the annual trail running event Beechworth Beer Run every May. We'll be back to take part having explored the Indigo MTB on which the event will run for one day a year! Awesome.

Everything was spot on for a holiday park - it's up there with the best.

I loved this place. It is in a beautiful location and really well laid out around the lake. It's also at the head of the Indigo and rail trails, perfect for cycling enthusiasts like me. The studio cabin is really well set up, clean, comfortable (bed way more than I expected based on prior experience at other caravan parks) but do bring your own shower gel and shampoo. The wifi is limited but I was glad for that as I needed to switch off and it gave me the excuse to do so. Bliss. The staff are absolutely lovely too which is great.

nothing, I was really happy with it as it exceeded my expectations. Beechworth is a wonderful place to spend a few days.

We loved the fire pits and how many people had their dogs. It was very quiet and relaxing even though we were there during school holidays. We caught fish in the lake and enjoyed the beautiful stream that ran through the park.

My only complaint was the lack of sun that reached our cabin. The morning sun was behind our cabin and the veranda stopped any afternoon sun. There was zero sun on our balcony and nowhere else to sit that had any sun exposure. Not sure about any of the other cabins but I love to sit and read in the sun there was nowhere to sit in the sun. We were in TB1.

The entire reserve is so beautiful with lake access, volleyball court, fire pits, mini golf and walking trails. The staff is very friendly and the check in as well as check out process was very smooth. They provide clear instructions and the rooms are very sufficient for all your needs. It was so peaceful and quiet, I regret not having spent more time here as we were out at Falls Creek for snow. Definitely will visit again in the warmer months!

We stayed in a Lakeview Villa which was clean and comfortable, with a good shower, bed and pillows. It was nice to see the sunset over the lake in the evenings. This caravan park is in a lovely setting and is very well run by the staff. I think staying in any of the cabins would be a good experience here.

I stayed in a pet friendly cabin, and it was such a lovely friendly safe atmosphere. Lovely walking trails and places for the pooch to have a swim, and an easy walk into Beechworth town. The staff in the office for so friendly and welcoming - had a lovely stay!

Only the air conditioner was quite noisy, but luckily it wasn't too hot so I just switched it off.

We stayed in the Standard studio while biking the rail trail from Wangaratta. Large cabin with a good bathroom and kitchen. Comfortable bed. Lots of storage. Nice balcony out front which they let us lock our bikes to. The grounds are very pretty. Easy 10 minute walk into town. We would stay longer if we went again

The cabin was very well equipped with everything you'd need. It was exceptionally clean and well presented. The park was very quiet for the time we were there. It was also well maintained and obviously well looked after.

A little further out of town than expected (about 20 minutes walk) but accessible

This is our second stay. I just love this place. Its so peaceful. The kids are kept occupied by the swings, the volleyball net and the many adventures they had with other children. We loved swimming in the lake. The accommodation was well equipped with everything that you need.
