The Location was absolutely excellent! couldn't get any better. It was walk able from all the main spots. The breakfast was fab. They had a wonderful buffet with a breakfast menu you could order hot food from. The fresh fruits they had in the buffet was specially amazing as they had so many to choose from and of very good quality. The staff were very polite and were kind enough to upgrade one of our rooms as my father needed a wheelchair accessible one.

The Air Conditioning was really pathetic. It was boiling as we had gone in peak summer and the rooms just wouldn't cool enough. We even complained and they sent somebody to fix it but it didn't change things. The rooms were run down and definitely needed renovations.

The location is in the centre of Innsbruck, within walking distance of almost everywhere you'd want to go, and buses and trams are close by for everywhere else. Despite being in the centre, the hotel is on a quiet side street, so noise is no problem, (although the city centre is on the flight-path for the airport). The breakfast buffet is possibly the best I've seen anywhere, and I've seen quite a few. We stayed for seven nights and for the first four our room was good. However, maintenance work need to be carried out on that floor, so we were moved to a suite on another floor for the rest of our stay, which was excellent. Possibly the best thing about the Penz though is the staff. Every member of staff we dealt with was friendly, helpful, professional and a pleasure to deal with.

There really was nothing at all we didn't like.

I spent 8 nights here. It must be the best hotel in Innsbruck. Luxurious bed and linens. Quiet.Stunning hard wood floors. Designer touches through out the rooms and common areas.Two high speed elevators -although hotel has only 5 floors. Location:30-second walk to the main historical square in Old Town. Row of available cabs 100 yards from the hotel front door. Breakfast is as comprehensive as those seen in Dubai's best luxury hotels.Everything imaginable from fresh blueberries,strawberries,mangos,etc.; (in the dead of winter!),fresh grain breads;soy,oat,almond milk,etc. The restaurant offers a stunning view of the snow-covered mountains-magical . Hotel has many employees -so never a wait for anything in restaurant or at front desk. If booked far in advance the hotel is very reasonably priced. Excellent value!!!!!!

Breakfast on the 5th floor is an awesome experience! The views from the floor are amazing. More importantly, there is so much space on the floor, it makes guests feel very relaxed. And the breakfast spread is the best I have seen in my life. There are at least 15 types of just jams and preserves! The choice of bread, of muesli, of nuts/dry fruits, of fruits.....it's amazingly wide! One last thing. The location of the hotel is terrific. In 5 minutes, you can reach almost all the tourist spots!

Room could be better. The light in the bathroom pours over into the bedroom, so it disturbs the other person. The bath gel bottle is too tight to squeeze the gel out. The room size could be a little bigger too

From a previous stay I know breakfast s excellent. However, this time I have not taken breakfast due to the costs. Seeing the mountain from my room is great. It is close distance to where I had to be. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. I value that the room has a window to open for fresh air. I enjoyed having cream, soap, shampoo, etc. in the room.

The side where I stay, is the waste disposal and pickup point for glass. This is heard throughout the day. Being in the city, the area is not so silent at night. I missed a kettle to boil water for tea. The coffee machine is the only option in the room.

Our 2 nights stay was great beyond words, we were so impressed by the service provided by Charlie at the front desk. He is an excellent staff, so caring, lots of initiative, so helpful, unfortunately we didnt manage to thank hiim personally before we left. We were told by Lukas that Charlie is not on duty but he will convey the message to him. The room service was great too, fast and efficient. The shower was the best. Room was really comfortable, The hotel is centrally located, walking distance to all popular destination. I will be staying here whenever i visit Innsbruck.

We were so satisfied and cannot ask for more. We love everything in the Penz Hotel!

Breakfast buffet is absolutely the highlight of this hotel's services. Huge variety of fresh fruit, cereals and toppings, toast and preserves, cheeses, meats, juices, and a few warm dishes (eggs, sausages, bacon), as well as some menu items (I think? I never needed to ask). Two stand-outs in service - Ren(?) from reception. So friendly, helpful, funny and welcoming. Immediately fantastic first impression; and the maitre'd(?)/ man in suit upstairs in the restuarant. Very kind, welcoming and calming presence. The room was more basic than the photos (lighting and ambience gives a different vibe online), but it was fine. Location was handy for us as we were going to the hospital downtown twice a day. Some nice restaurants, shops and cafes around. Walkable into the town center. Due to unforseen circumstances of our emergency stay, my mother and I received truly exceptional support and service, I couldn't have asked for a better experience, given that I was not in Innsbruck on holiday. From the 4th floor you can hear restaurant furniture organisation around 5am. Not too bad, just FYI :)

Location, breakfast quality and huge variety of choices. I did also like the service with the waiters as they were very polite and providing food upon request. Place was clean overall. Easy access to the hotel from underground carpark at reasonable price.

Bathroom sink and tap was very uncomfortable with the hot and cold separated adjustments and the actual sink structure. It would have been enough to just have the traditional sink and tap. Luggage holder/table missing in the bedroom for the price paid is expected sorry. Light switches dated and not fully functional as the one in the bathroom broker the night before our departure. Phone charges only on one side of the bed.

Amazing location that’s not too close and not too far from all the activities Innsbruck has to offer. The rooftop bar is awesome as is the breakfast. You get an amazing view at night from up top and they don’t overcharge you for drinks. The staff was great and rooms were European comfortable.

More of a billing issue. I booked through booking.com and was quoted one price for my family of 4. When I checked out they charged me €60 per person per night extra for double occupancy when the rooms were booked to have two people in them each. So an extra €120 a night!

Staff is excellent and the location is easy to get to from the autostrada and it’s right in the centre of the city. The breakfast is exceptional and worth investing in. There is a wide selection and is all fresh and tasty. There breakfast lounge Stays open until 1200, which is a big plus. The rooms are super clean and actually have storage; toiletries are provided and my room had a bath and a shower, which is a treat for me. It’s also attached to a huge underground car garage, which makes life easy if you drive.

There were no public toilets, which I thought odd for a hotel. The bed was way too hard for me, but that’s personal preference. I arrived after a 4 hour car journey and really needed a snack before dinner. The bar was open but no food available. I think at least some bar snacks should be available for guests. A boot drying area would be useful too.
