Good old English style building from 17th century but very tastefully and sympathetically refurbished. The manager Ovi was outstanding, a very friendly chap with great local knowledge and made us feel most welcome from our first steps into the property until we left.

Nothing bad to say. Would be great if food was available behind the bar - like pre-ordered and/or pre made sandwiches or snacks but this was not a problem. We knew in advance and the pop up restaurant was perfect on our first night.

The B&B was so cosy and in the perfect central location for all the areas we wanted with minimal driving distance. The breakfast choice in the mornings was amazing and it was so nice. The rooms exceeded our expectations, they had a bath as well. Would 100% recommend and will be returning in the new year.

Only thing I could say is maybe put some shower gel in the rooms as well as shampoo/conditioner, not at all a complaint just an idea.

Clean cosy room. Breakfast was delicious with various choices and cooked to order. Location was good for getting to other places and area very quiet and peaceful. Owners were friendly and happy to assist.

Had to wait 30 minutes upon arrival to be let in as pub wasn't open and nobody on site. TV kept going off due to no signal as did WiFi. Had to ask for cups as tea/coffee facilities in room not stocked.

The food was very good gpod although it was anlimited menu (mostly steak). Waited about 10minutes in the morning before a drink order was taken but realised the waitor was also the chef for the morning. (Maybe the chef was sick?) Worth the wait though as the breakfast was lovely. The room was cosy and the place was in a beautiful location with free parking.

The staff could have been more welcoming. Only saw 2 front of house staff the whole trip so maybe theyre tired? I could have done with a wider range of options for dinner but what i did order was very good. The room was fairly clean except for the kettle and coffee machine which dont look like theyve been cleaned since they were bought.

Gorgeous, oldy worldy, full of character bedroom, bathroom and pub. Loved how quiet the village is. I'm possibly Autistic and very sensitive to noise so was pefect for me. Really liked the smell of the hand/body lotion in the bathroom. Brilliant, helpful staff. On arrival the bed was made up as a double although i'd booked a single. Although it was not their fault two members of staff worked an extra hour past the end of their shift to make the bed into twins as requested. No problem with parking. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice.

I telephoned Booking.com on day of arrival, just after checking in due to double rather than twin beds. I had ordered twin beds as we are adult Mother and Daughter so did not want to share a bed. Staff said there was nothing they could do originally as housekeeper had left for the day and they had not received twin bed request from Booking.com. Booking.com agent offered no help. Was thanks to staff working overtime that this was resolved. I also emailed Booking.com on 22 Oct 23 to complain about this but received no reply. Had problems with Booking.com before, with accommodation in Vancouver not existing and them offering no support. Would stay at The Plough Inn again, but not through Booking.com.

Breakfast is between 9 and 10, we had a meeting 8 miles away at 9:30. The staff went out of their way to get us a, very tasty, breakfast for 9 o’clock. Great quality ingredients and excellent coffee.

No details in the room of breakfast times, how to link the TV to the Wi-Fi and the Wi-Fi code. All sorted by going back downstairs to ask but could be resolved by having a sheet with details in the room. One side of the bed was extremely comfy but the other side was very uncomfortable, could feel the springs, despite this we would definitely stay again, with a bed change!

The Plough Inn is located in a delightful Cotswold village, full of beautiful homes and an ideal film location. a classic setting in many ways. we had arrived from Edam just north of Amsterdam en route back home to Cumbria. Tired from a longish drive and ferry we were hoping the Inn was going to be a pleasant stopover. It was much more. It was an oasis, with very pleasant staff and good accommodation. the food was good but very interesting pub grub based mainly around the beef from the local farm, but I think the breakfast was perfect for me. the selection of wines was good and proved our downfall as we enjoyed the ambiance so much we consumed more than normal, so beware!

Nothing to observe. we enjoyed it all.

Snug room in a quaint pub in a nice country area. Very clean with well maintained furnishings and easy to use appliances. Excellent food and Guinness on-site. Friendly efficient staff. Entertainment in the pub on weekends.

The carpet on the stairs and hallway needed cleaning or renewing. Nothing more.

It was lovely that the property was located in little village away from hustle and bustle . The owner gave us some great recommendations of places to visit. Ovi the general manager was lovely to talk to. So down to earth and interesting to talk to . A credit to The plough . Thank you Julie and Trevor

Everything was perfect

Great friendly place well situated a little outside Bourton-on-the-Water so is a lot quieter and more relaxed. Breakfasts are fantastic all freshly cooked snd great quality local ingredients. Village is ideally suited for lots of short daytrips and ideal as a base in the middle of the Cotswolds.

Room didn’t have a wardrobe so clothes storage for more than a few days would be tricky .
