This is a perfect example of how hotels should operate. At Hotel Aurora you have what you need for a comfortable stay and the staff make you feel very welcome - even after check out. This is the essence of a hotel business, which many times I don't find (even in expensive luxury hotels). But Hotel Aurora is very efficiently operated, it is clean, nicely decorated, well located and reasonably priced. I would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend it during your stay in Pavia. Congratulations to the management and all the staff.

Very close to the station (which is one of the main reasons it was chosen). A good 10 minute walk to the centre but 10 minutes to the Visconti palace and the covered bridge. As far as I could tell, there wasn't a breakfast option but maybe because I didn't ask?

Rooms were bare and not really cozy - it provided what I needed but nothing more. Wasn't the warmest welcome at check-in but that might have been a language issue.

Hotel with good location 150 m from the train station. Restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Good sized room, safe, fridge. Helpful staff Overall very good, pleasant and practical hotel. But they need to take care of soundproofing. I'm a light sleeper and I had problems. If you're not, you won't have a problem.

Walls are thin like paper. I didn't have any noise problems when sleeping on the first day, but at times I could hear conversations in neighboring rooms. On the second night I woke up at 1:00 am with the television playing at high volume from an uneducated guest next door. Internet was slower at night

Despite my room was smaller than I usual accustom to, but it was fine and clean and the queen firm bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located very close to a train / bus station. However, I could not take advantage of that convenience because I had a rental car. Also, one can easily walk over to the center of the town of Pavia for restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, etc.

Car parking in front of hotel was an issue for us because there were only a limited number of “blue” paid-metered parkings which were occupied all the time. However, a paid parking facility is a few blocks away.

Great room and shower. Breakfast was very good. Staff helpful.

Facilities either in the room or in the hotel for coffee during the late evening. I like to drink coffee in my room, but it seemed I wasn't able to make or buy any without going out.

Amazing location near the train station. Great room and furnishings. There was turndown service every day which we didn't realize was part of the stay and was a pleasant surprise!

Bedside table and phone was a little dusty but it wasn't a big deal

Very comfortable and super clean rooms. I had a single one in the basement and it was very quiet, allowing for a good night rest. There was no kettle, but the kind gentleman at the reception offered to boil some hot water for my tea. Breakfast was good and good quality. Location is perfect, close to the station and the city.

Two interesting items in the room: the refrigerator on the wall, the bidet in the bathroom. The room is pleasantly functional.

Very nice staff, friendly and helpful, all the people I've met during the three days were really nice. The room was quiet, as I wanted. Location was good for the traveling (very close to the train station), and 15 minutes walking away from the center. Breakfast served in the lobby.

The bed mattress was a bit inclined. The room was at the -1 level, with window towards an interior court (which was very good for the silence, I appreciated this), and some ants were walking on the flour, the first day; I told people at the reception and the problem was solved (this can happen in older buildings, I was not really upset).
