The front desk staff helped bring this rating up, otherwise it would have been lower. I realize this was the off season. Since the restaurant was not open, and the room rate included breakfast, one of the front desk staff graciously picked up coffee and pastries and brought them to me in the lobby without charge. The room was clean and had enough bedding and towels for a one-night stay. The recommended restaurant for dinner was excellent. And the hotel is located conveniently for exploring all of Gallipoli's old city and the waterfront.
Wi-fi wasn't working anywhere outside the lobby, and so I sat in the lobby to use my phone and laptop into late in the evening and during breakfast. As noted, the restaurant wasn't open, so a regular breakfast wasn't an option, but staff helped make up for that.

Nice rooms and sizable bathroom. Breakfast and staff were awesome! Good location but tricky to find upon arrival. Restaurant on site with 10% discount for guests. Shuttle to gorgeous beaches 3km away. Worth not dealing with parking and picked you up at the hotel.
Parking was a hassle. We ended up going with the paid parking in the marina area below than what sounded complicated to get "authorized" parking. Public beach close by but not maintained (seaweed) and no toilets.

The location presented difficulties with parking where we - unknowingly - entered a restricted zone. However, the young lady on reception cleared our "offence" with the police on booking in. We found Valerie instructive and interesting in providing local and cultural information. Thanks to the male waiter who allowed us to park in front of the restaurant whilst we organised parking on the island.
Parking found to be very difficult on the island. Perhaps the hotel's literature should warn about such difficulties and direct guests to the harbour parking area.

Beautiful rustic hotel with lovely sea views. The two ladies at the front desk were amazing…made us feel so welcome. We were given an upgrade upon arrival to a much larger room! Three beds, tall ceilings and huge windows to take in the beautiful views. We especially loved the big walk in shower with amazing water pressure. Wonderful breakfast, and the gentleman who made our coffee was so kind. I can’t say enough nice things about this place and highly recommend it! We will definitely be back!
We loved it all!

The breakfast was perfect, beautiful dining room and lovely staff. We researched the parking and got a message back from the hotel indicating we could drop off and pick up luggage. We chose to park below in the port car park. It wasn't difficult to get our bags to the hotel. It was a great location. It was also very reasonable for what we got. Would definitely recommend Al Pescatore Hotel
Everything was good

Location was excellent, walking distance to beach and bars and on the edge of the old town. Room was comfortable and had tea making facilities. We had a lovely view of the harbour.
We had to leave the keys each time we ventured out, although there is a 24 hour reception, and housekeeping tried to get in and out quickly, so they often forgot things. There was also a lot of light filtering through the window of a morning.

Its position on the harbour front was great. All the reception staff and restaurant staff were great. We were there for Valentine's Day and had a good evening with a special dinner with a soothing duo. It is great walking round the alleys of the old town.
It was no fault of the hotel but a ferocious wind blew up. This meant our shutters had to be closed for 2 days. So we didn't benefit from the seaview room we had paid for. Bear that in mind when booking.

Location was fabulous. The room was large. The front desk clerk spoke excellent English and helped with a scenic drive that we were hoping to take. The food was good. Parking was close. Staying in the historic area was exceptional.
We got a little confused by the "no drive" area coming in, but the staff was exceptional in helping us navigate that situation.

Fantastic hotel! Perfect if you are driving (you can drop the bags inside the ZTL – restricted traffic zone – when you check in and get them when you checkout) and park – free, in May – ate the Port Parking, a short walk in front of the hotel. Services were outstanding, specially at the reception, where they gave us a lot of information about the town, maps, how to park the car, and helped with the (heavy) baggage. Location could not be better, at walking distance to all the attractions, churches and restaurants. Room – sea view, which I strongly recommend – was very good: comfortable, great view (apart from the parking just below, but the horizon and the fishing boats returning in the afternoon and mooring just in front were beautiful). However, the shower box was too small.
The worst part was the wi-fi, we couldn´t connect in the room, too week. Breakfast should be improved: only one person cleaning tables, serving a good Italian coffee (espresso, cappuccino, etc) and replenishing the reasonable buffet was not enough: he worked a lot, but at the end it was slow and there were missing items in the buffet. Charging extra for an orange juice was also not nice. Shower box was too small.

The reception staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful and (thankfully for us) spoke english. They gave good recommendations for places to eat and visit. There is lots of choice for restaurants and cafés nearby and also shops where you can buy supplies for a picnic. The hotel also has its own restaurant with some very fresh looking fish on display. We liked the large rooms and the location in the Old Town was convenient. The rooms were very clean and, despite the road directly outside the hotel, pretty quiet. It's only a short walk to the beach and there are a choice of bars in the Old Town where you can enjoy a drink whilst watching the sunset. No noisy bars near the hotel. You cannot drive your car or park it in the road around the Old Town during the Summer but you are allowed 2 visits (on arrival and departure) to drop off/collect your suitcases (they filled out a form to ensure we did not get a fine from the camera that monitors this). There is a car park by the harbour (about 5 minutes walk) where you can park for free and access in and out of the Old Town without restriction during your stay. I felt the staff made a great effort to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. A nice peaceful atmosphere in a lovely old building.
Everything was good, but if I had to give one slight criticism it would be on the breakfast. Although there was plenty of choice (cereal, cakes, fruit, croissants, cheese, ham etc), I thought that the quality of food did not match the 4 star rating of the rest of the hotel eg no nice crusty freshly baked bread (something I particularly enjoy when visiting Europe) and the fruit 'salad' was cut into very thin slices, so that you had to take many to get a reasonable portion (which meant it frequently ran out and needed to be refilled when the staff noticed), no choice of NICE cheeses or ham. I would describe the breakfast as 'okay' rather than 'excellent', which was a shame as this would have been easy to improve without great cost.
