I used this hotel before travelling back to Scotland today and it's very convenient for anyone who has an early morning or late evening flight. It is very comfortable with complimentary water in the fridge and all mod cons including air conditioning. There are a restaurant and bar downstairs where you can eat a meal.

It was not clear that the hotel breakfast costs an extra 15 euros which you pay at the property if you decide to eat breakfast there. If you want to reserve a shuttle at a quarter past or to the hour, you have to book this in advance before your arrival.

There was nothing that didn't meet expectations for an Airport Hotel and it's good value for the standard provided. I didn't take the full breakfast option but opted for the a coffee and brioche in the bar which was perfect for an early start. I's not as close to the airport as it may indicate, I came by car so a good solution and there seems to be a frequent shuttle service to and from the airport that solves that problem.

I would have given it a 10 except for this annoyance, the room has a great electric operated window shutter to black out the room perfect for someone who needs total darkness for a good nights sleep except the pilot lights from the AC and the emergency indicators lit up the room like a carnival and this not a problem restricted to this hotel it is everywhere including 5 star hotels, you would think hotel designers would put this problem top of their list to solve or the hotels at least provide eye mask option on request if need be. Just a thought.

Near the airport

I booked this hotel as the shuttle service was advertised as starting at 4am and bookable on arrival. On arrival we were told that it was full and that we would have to book a taxi in the morning, which was disappointing. Later, we checked if we could book the taxi in advance and a very helpful different staff member volunteered that we could go on the 3.40am shuttle instead! If we hadn’t asked again, we would have been unaware of the earlier shuttle. Apart from this confusion, the hotel was ideal for the airport.

Close to the airport, it was convenient for our trip schedule. The room was nice and clean and the staff was quick to help and provide solutions to small issues that occurred. Food was nice, and room service was fast but I wouldn't say value for money.

The shuttle we had booked for the airport was late and everyone was talking in Italian even when we had just talked with them in English. The first shuttle (drive to the hotel), was overbooked despite us calling the hotel to request one as we were told to do by the hotel reception. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, it was supposed to be a double bed but it was two mattresses of different densities put together which made one side much harder than the other which made it difficult to sleep on.

Lovely hotel and hospitable staff reasonably close to the airport. However there was NO FREE SHUTTLE from the airport and it's relatively far from city centre, so there wasn't much of an option for food, apart from the Hotel Restaurant which was quite pricey and very tourist centric. Hotel itself was clean, large and had all the amenities of a standard soul less airport hotel.

Lack of FREE SHUTTLE from airport and had to pay an additional Euro 50 from airport to hotel, one way. Lack of anywhere to get food near the hotel and the hotel restaurant was extremely expensive with very mediocre tourist food.

Pretty good value, especially considering how bad the value is for most Bolognese accommodations. Also pretty late check out time.

Location makes it pretty inconvenient. Although you could theoretically get to the city centre in as quick as 30 minutes, in most cases that isn't the case. Though the tramlines under construction in Bologna are set to open next year and will have its terminus very close to the Hotel, so once it gets built the location will become pretty convenient.

As for location, my only stress was not knowing where to meet the van for airport pick up. Our late arrival was when the front desk was minimally staffed (I'm guessing), so I had called over 5 times with no one to answer. We were in line for taxis when I tried 1 more time and someone answered. Then when we reached the pickup point, there was a van there and wanted to take 2 of my guests, which was good. But he had a seat for a 3rd person without their luggage and that person refused to leave her luggage. The driver was a bit agitated with that.

The room was a bit small for three people. Some of the facilities in the room (e.g., sockets, faucets, etc.) could use an update. The breakfast was okay but somewhat disappointing: scrambled eggs that were clearly prepared a long time ago, cold pancakes, and similar items.

Everything was very clean. The staff were polite and professional. Parking was free, although it was difficult to find a space due to the large number of cars.

Sufficiently close to the airport with an available shuttle makes this useful choice for morning flights. Also, the hotel has a very good restaurant that is average priced making it easy to stay in one place.

The room was a bit on the small side for two people, the shuttle costs 7 euros per person, and the air conditioning did not work. Details on how to get an iron and ironing board were delivered on the day of arrival and it was way to easy to miss that detail.

The hotel is very close to the airport and public transportation into the city and surrounding areas. The free breakfast is great with many choices. The staff was helpful and personable. The shuttle driver and person at the bar were very pleasant and accommodating. We had a great 2-night stay.

There is a charge of 15 euros for the airport shuttle. There is a 30 euro fee to use the spa area for two hours.
