The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was mostly clean and quiet. The toilet was well maintained too though I would prefer the handwash soap to be nearer to the sink area.

There were a few bedbugs. I knew immediately when I got bitten so I checked through the lower bunk's entire bed and comforter. Thankfully, it was just a few. Otherwise, I would have called reception. I think the side bed lamp wasn't working so it was kind of dim in that area. I'm not sure if it was mentioned or not that this room is without windows. Please provide the info in your description if it isn't there yet.

It’s on the corner of two really busy roads. The traffic noise is a problem until very late and starts again very early. You may be ok with a room at the back but ours was noisy.

It is a good, proper hotel. Very good price/value balance. Rooms are big and clean, a/c and shower heater work perfectly, really good shower gel provided.

Unfortunately I got this time a room with windows to the street, which was really noisy. Sometimes it was like the motorbikes are going through the room. In addition i woke up twice when the bell for the neighbour room was used. From a former stay I know they have also more quite rooms, if you are noise sensitive then better ask for that.

The staffs, they are all nice and willing gave us information about the town with smile. Location is good, we could walk to every corner of the hotel and found something nice, restaurants, cafe, temple, food court, market, street food, department store etc. Very near to Komtar and Shawrastar Market. The room was big, comfy bed, nice amenities. I love their 2in1 soap and shampoo, it showed their willing to give the best for their guest. Another thing that surprised me was water, yes, they offer water tank and a glass bottle in the room for filling water which I've never seen in any other hotels of all my 8 days trip. That was so generous because of the weather, we need more water and it's cold too! We didn't know about the water so we bought 6 bottle of 1.5L for 3 days and felt sorry for the mother earth. even this is small hotel but keep good concept of save the earth and try their best for serve the guest. Thank you, we would recommend this hotel to anyone who are going to Penang.

the staff told me that the wifi was no need to log in just connect but I was not work and it needed user name and password but my mobile had enough internet so I didn't use the wifi

Awesome room layout with an empty glass bottle to refill at the water machine outside the room. Plenty of hanging space. Iron and board provided in communal area. Well designed and loved the shadow room numbers. Staff helpful. Grab can be ordered and eaten in the room - also easy to get Grabs to the door. Step-free access and smooth ramps, with no loose tiles. Cab to Batu Ferrengi was easy.

Elevator is small and slow, but the stairs are lovely and wide and not too deep.

The staff were very accommodating, we wanted to check in early so they took our number incase the room was available earlier (the room became available an hour before, so they let us know). we were able to leave our luggage in the luggage storage at the hotel. The room was larger than expected.

The room needed some renovations and some TLC. There was a leak in the ceiling of the loo, would hate to thing what was leaking.

Clean and neat rooms. Very good location near to Komtar and Jalan Penang. Very helpful receptionist who gave us very good advice and suggestions.

Could not provide us with rooms close to each other for our group.

My husband smoke so it's so difficult for him to go down from the room to the lobby and outside just for a 5 minute smoke, I know can't smoke inside the room but maybe you should do a smoking place inside the hotel, so that the guess doesn't have to go smoke outside hotel near the road

Toilet taps on 2 nights were leaking. Eventually had to change rooms due to inconvenience unable to rest at night.

The bathroon shower is very good as it gives one the choice. Airconditioning very good with eco the air freshness is there

Cleaning the room was not done inspite of makeup card was placed outside the room. I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days and this was not done. Astro programmes missing. Local tv stations do not give much entertainmdnt. The hotel needs a coffee house very badly. On raining days have one would be very handy and late evening meals like supper woukd be good
