The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I liked that the bathrooms had the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in the shower. The water pressure from the shower was good. The food from breakfast was good and also hot. The waffles were delicious. The hotel is located within walking distance to some local shops, and you can catch the shuttle at the door to take you to the ferries to go over to Mackinac Island. The staff was super friendly and very helpful with any questions.

Excellent location within walking distance of shopping & restaurants. Hotel provided shuttle service to Shepler's Ferry. Hotel was very clean. Bed was very comfortable.

I booked through Booking.com. There was to be no prepayment, however, the hotel charged my credit card months before we arrived. I had to go through the process of disputing that charge. At checkout, I requested a printed receipt. I was told I would have to get that from Booking.com. I explained I always book that way & every hotel has been able to provide me with a receipt at checkout. This hotel refused & never provided me with a receipt. Breakfast area was very tight & crowded.

We stayed here for four nights, so we really did get a feel for the hotel. It was so comfortable and conveniently located. We had a very quiet room. We went to Mac Island, Soo Locks, Whitefish Bay, Tahquamenon Falls, and the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum using this hotel as our base since everything was close. Also the hotel is located near a bunch of restaurants and bars and shopping and so close to the ferries to Mac Island. The breakfast was plentiful and we used the indoor pool and hot tub almost every night. We also used the laundry facilities. Very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying the Mac City area.

Ally the desk clerk when we checked in was very nice and helpful. She took time to talk with us and answer all our questions. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, fried eggs, sausage, byo waffle, bread and bagels. Also mini muffins, yogurt and juice. Staff kept it well stocked. All staff seemed friendly. Close enough where we could walk to all the downtown shops.

Only thing... Pool area burned our eyes from the strong chlorine.

The Location was awesome, the Sheplers Shuttle was right next door. I think we could have ask shuttle to pick us up at hotel too. The access to room was either front or back. The pool and hot tub were very nice to relax in after a long day at the Island. Having Mini fridge/freezer and microwave was nice too. The shower was very nice as well. The Beds were comfortable.

I would have love to have a power outlet by the chair and bed. The toilet was also low. The hot tub only had the lower jets on. Not the top ones.

This hotel is up-to-date and well-maintained. Coffee & tea available in the lobby. Breakfast each AM-eggs, sausage, cold cereal, oatmeal, fruit, toast, bagels, waffles, yogurt, juices etc. The pool had just opened along with the hot tub. We used the hot tub once during our stay. We were there at the very start of the season so it was not busy. The location is perfect. Close enough to walk to most areas. Shuttle to the Mackinaw Island Ferry is just across the parking lot. It was a great stay and highly recommend it. Would absolutely return here. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Excellent room, clean, confortable, good size. I like the sink is outside the bathroom. I love the room layout. The room was spacious, nice furniture and clean. The swimming pool was very nice, the water was a little cold for my liking though. Breakfast was great, but the egg was a little watery. There is always room for improvement. I still like staying here very much. I would definitely stay again. Close to everything, excellent location. Friendly staff.

Excellent breakfast with friendly efficient workers. Pristine room and entire facility! Best Baymont we’ve ever stayed in. Other hotels should use this location as the one to model! It is absolutely great!

Good location, not far from the ferry dock. Hot breakfast was very good, had lots of options. Overall clean environment. Lots of bathroom amenities. Front desk team was very helpful. 24hrs coffee station was available, Overall very good experience.

The staff here went above and beyond! In my haste to get back on the road, I left a bag full of snacks, thermos bottles, and flatware behind. I received a call a day later from the front desk (which I finally answered, being an unknown number) and a very kind offer to ship my things to my home. I am BEYOND impressed! It arrived a day after I arrived at home. This hotel was excellent - the location, the room, the cleanliness - but that final gesture was truly amazing. Thank you!
