The room was spotless! Always a plus these days :) It was a generous size room and bathroom; the bed was comfortable; there was a mini fridge and a microwave. Also a pool and hot tub, though I didn’t have a chance to use those. The location is ideal - right across from the park by the bridge! And the staff were very nice. Good price, compared to other local hotels.

The only reason I gave a 9 instead of a 10 was because I’d requested a quiet room and there was a noisy couple with a very noisy, screaming kid above me (though that isn’t the fault of the staff - they had no way of knowing).

Even though I asked Booking.com for a first-floor room as I am disabled, they failed to tell the hotel. I ended up on the second floor and no elevator. The man at the front desk was so upset about that, especially since they were booked. He carried our luggage to our room and then down the stairs again when we checked out. The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I will/would stay there again, but next time,I will call the Light House and make my reservations. The location was awesome!

The location was outstanding for everything in the area that we did. The pool was fantastic for our boys. The room was super functional and easy to make work for the two 10-year olds and us. Outstanding information and recommendations on the area. Seeing the Mackinac Bridge from our property and the Lighthouse just across the street made it even more enjoyable

Awesome location. Its a smaller room than we usually book, but the place is spotless. Cleaning crew, (maids, maintenance). does a remarkable job. We never saw as much as a fly in our room! AND WE PAID LESS THAN HALF OF WHAT THE OTHER HOTELS, (SOME CORPORATE HOTELS), WERE CHARGING THIS PAST WEEKEND, (END OF JULY 2024). Very attwntive front staff too. It is a small hotel, but the BEST value in Macinac city!

Barhroom is small and toilet is lower to the floor than most toilets, but all plumbing works great, and shower is awesome with alot of water pressure.

Great location! We enjoyed seeing the sunset from the lighthouse across the street. Plus, we enjoyed the lighthouse! Motels was very quiet. We never heard anything from outside our room. Motel was very clean, and the sheets were extra soft. Hot tub is large and very warm - perfect! Pool was a nice size too, but it was cold.

Bed was too firm for us. No decaf coffee options. One set of stairs lacked handrails at the top.

The location is perfect, right across the street from the lighthouse park and with views of the bridge and lake., the room was an adequate size, on the 2nd floor. No elevators, you need to climb stairs.Window could be opened so you could feel the breeze off the lake. Close enough to downtown area to walk either on a walkway along the lakeshore or 4 blocks on the sidewalk.

Room a/c was a bit loud but did the job, parking area adequate but small.

Great location across from a lighthouse and the beach , wonderful staff. I arrived after 3 days of primitive camping in the UP and was ready for a real bed and a shower. I arrived prior to check in and they let me into my room early. Kevin was amazing and even backed out my car for me since I was in a tight spot. The hot tub and pool were great. This was within walking distance to shops and restaurants. I love animals but have been in too many hotels where loud barking kept me up through the night, so I was glad this was a pet free hotel. The coffee for the single serve coffee maker was very good. The soap had a lovely lemon scent. Stairs are difficult for me so I requested a ground floor room and they were able to accommodate that request. Overall it was clean, comfortable, affordable and I felt safe there as a solo traveller. I hope I have a chance to stay there again for a longer visit. Again, many thanks to Kevin for his helpfulness.

There was nothing I disliked.

We ate our first breakfast on the Island at The Sea biscuit. Delicious and great service! We at our second breakfast at Audi’s. We came back here after our last visit here. Super staff, prices and amazing food!

Carpet in the room was a bit dirty when walking on it bare foot. Everything else room related was very clean and accommodating!

The location was excellent. It was so close to the bridge and walking distance to a few places to eat. The beds were okay but a little on the hard side but the pillows were so soft and almost made up for the bed. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was a lil tight but it was just me and my husband so it was very do-able for us but maybe not for a bigger family...I honestly have no complaints overall... It was a nice place to hang your hat for a few days. I would stay again.

No complaints on this end. Well, I would maybe request a different room we where right by the stairs and it was a lil noisy at night when people were running up and down.

The location was great. We could see the lake across the road. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was very welcoming and friendly!

It wasn't a big deal but I usually stay at places that offer some kind of breakfast and this one does not.
