A friendly welcome, a clean and spacious but small hotel. We stayed here for easy access to the Gran Teatro Geox for a concert and its location was good for us. It is a little way out of the centre of Padua and about a 15 minute brisk walk from the train station, 25 minutes to the centre of Padua. Breakfast was part buffet, part service. It is limited but everything was fresh and delicious, especially the pastries. The room was huge with sofa, table and chairs and a small fridge. Bathroom was also large and clean with an excellent shower.

The location was fine for us, but if you are visiting Padua itself, then you might want to take the bus unless you like walking. The road outside is busy at times and there was some audible traffic noise with the windows shut.

The hotel is slightly outside the city center but still within a pleasant walking distance to the center of Padua, and there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The hotel is close to both the train and bus stations. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was modest but nice and sufficient.

The reception doesn't operate 24/7, which didn't really bother me, but one night we had really noisy neighbors, and I had to calm them down myself (instead of the staff doing it). The walls are quite thin, and a lot of sounds from the hallway and surrounding rooms could be heard in our rooms.

Words are not enough to express how satisfied I was with the stay at Hotel Casanova. The position of the hotel is perfect as it's just outside the center of Padova, and right near the Train and Bus station, making day trips to surrounding areas a breeze! The room was cozy, comfortable, clean and well equipped, and the bathroom was splendid in both cleanliness and size! Mattia is a very loving and caring man, I've never felt more welcome at a hotel than I have here, he does an amazing job making sure everything is running well, and you are having a great stay! Good location for me. I was travelling by motorcycle and they have parking (no charge for my bike) which was re-assuring. Bus stop right outside so was really easy to get a bus into city centre. Staff were nice, efficient. Room was big, really good air-con which I loved as super hot day. On quite a busy road but still quiet at night. Huge bathroom. It was perfect for me. Breakfast was included and good spread, lovely expresso, pastries, ect

Everything there for a great stopover. Very helpful and pleasant staff, fantastic breakfast. Big car park. This is near the main large railway station (10 mins walk and very busy there) for good access and you can walk into town in about 25 minutes.

Nothing, we enjoyed the stay and would return. However, it’s not exactly central for city centre if you can’t walk very far, this was not a problem for us. You can always get a cab!

A quite charming hotel that doesn't look like a hotel from the outside. Very pleasant interior. Staff was friendly and helpful. Although a bit away from the city center, there is a bus stop a couple minutes from the hotel, and a tramstop 5 minutes further. A 1 day ticket is a good way to get around Padua.

Although the immediate area was quiet, the interopr acoustics were quite live. From my room I could hear conversations in the lobby, and even from another room.

Hotel Casanova is the perfect example that a 3 star hotel can make you feel you’re on a 5 star instead. For sure is not the most luxurious hotel you can find but this was one of my best stays ever. The Hotel is always perfectly clean, noiseless, comfortable. The rooms have very good dimension and it looks that everything is made for the best comfort of the guests. The owner, Matthia, was very kind since I made the reservation, always helping us and very quick on answering questions via chat. During our stay he was always willing to help on everything. There are no words to explain his sympathy as well as his family. Also the breakfast was very good and tasteful. There was variety and local pastries. It’s really close to the train station (5-10min walking) and 5 min walking to the tram. In 15 min walking you’re in the city center.

The owner/manager was terrific, accommodating and very pleasant. The room was of reasonable size, secure, and quite comfortable. The morning breakfast met expectations and provided a good start for the day. The hotel itself is located within walking distance of the train station.

I have only two criticisms of the hotel. First, it was located quite distant from places of interest in the city or good restaurants, but public transportation is readily available. Secondly, walls between rooms do not absorb sound effectively. My noise canceling headphones addressed that problem.

First of all, the host is very welcoming. Smiling all the time and preparing coffee in the morning. The room was big enough and the beds were comfortable. My partner has problems sleeping, but this time she had nothing to complain about. Also, it was nice that we could quickly arrive to the railway station, it’s a great place to stay if you visit Venice, as the trains come from 30 to 30 mins and it takes less than 30 minute to arrive in Venice. Also, Padova is cheaper and nicer than Mestre/Marghera.

Some things that you might find problematic: the reception was open just until 18:30, there was no fridge and you could hear others in the morning. Also, the breakfast didn’t have too many options. The neighborhood is a bit shady, but still, we had no issues in 6 days.

This a “classical hotel” in the best sense! Big convenient parking, charming room with big wooden blocks on the ceilings and a very clean bathroom with spacious shower. Comfortable bed, good sound proof windows. Breakfast was also better than most “breakfasts” you would usually have in Italy. Public transport stops are nearby and it was easy to get to the center of Padova.
