Very friendly staff, clean room and facilities, comfortable and quirky aesthetic. Stayed over Easter and the hotel ran an easter egg hunt. I found one of the eggs and reception redeemed it for a complimentary dinner for my partner and I at the rooftop restaurant (including cocktails!). This was very much appreciated. We loved our stay.

Not the most central location but the abundance of transport options (train, bus, tram) literally out front made this not an issue whatsoever.

The hotel is near Europaplein metro station and from there you can reach the city centre very quickly. Also, in front of the hotel, 50 meters away, is the bus station for Keukenhof gardens. It is very convenient because you can buy tickets for the garden with bus transportation included.

This was our first stay in the nhow Amsterdam Rai and we absolutely loved it! Gorgeous hotel with amazing, colourful decor. Our rooms were spacious, had a view and were quiet. The hotel is very close to a subway station and also within walking distance of the more touristy areas. There are supermarkets and restaurants located near the hotel. Parking is available underneath the hotel, but is rather expensive.

As someone who lived in Amsterdam for years, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. To a non-local, it may be daunting to book a hotel outside the inner city at a relatively more affordable price level for similar comfort, because it is hard to judge which industrial estate, bad neighborhood, or relatively poor public transport link you might find yourself behind. And truth be told, Amsterdam has many such places with hotels like that; Amstelveen, Osdorp/Slotervaart, Noord, Bijlmer, Sloterdijk, IJburg, Java-eiland... Well, rest assured; this hotel is in an absolutely amazing location city-tripwise. You can take the metro from Europapark to reach the inner city and all its landmarks within minutes; other metros from RAI give you a direct connection to the eastern parts of the city center, as well as the Ajax stadium. Furthermore, trains from RAI connect to Schiphol Airport quickly and directly. To top it off, the hotel is legit 4* quality, and the view from higher floors is great and stretches all of Amsterdam. In terms of value for money, there are not many hotels in this quality range in Amsterdam that can rival this one.

I thought the breakfast was absolutely fabulous. I have never seen such a wide variety of foods, so healthy and delicious in equal measure. Very impressive!

Perfect hotel, architectural marvel. The best element of this hotel was the breakfast; I did not want to oversleep, as salmon + bruschetta + guacamole + bagel combination was just too tasty to miss, not speaking about matcha pudding or waffles. This is a hotel that truly costs its price. You can borrow bikes from the hotel (great for traversing Amsterdam), it has one of the best gyms I have seen within a hotel, and I appreciate the strategy to give people drinks for free (they had a really great mint tee) in exchange for opting out from room service that day.

Maybe pillows; if there was at least one pillow that was little lower, it would be beyond perfect.

We absolutely loved our three night stay in this hotel! It was practically next to the train station that we got from the airport (no more than 10 minutes away) and then a few minutes on the other side was the metro, again just 2/3 stops to centre. We were on the 14th floor, incredible views. The bed was huge and so comfortable! Great shower, nice and hot and great pressure. Huge tv, now we did use the room probably a little more than other hotels we’ve stayed in, on city breaks. The little free sweets at reception was a cute touch. The only thing I’d say is, to make even better would be to add a spa facility. For a weekend away in Amsterdam this hotel is perfect.

The room is clean and spacious and I was pleasantly surprised how big the room actually was (pictures really match with the reality!). Beds were also nice and sturdy and in general I was happy with the facilities. Also, although the price of 27€ for breakfast might sound too much, this hotel has one of the nicest breakfasts I've ever had: fresh orange juice, sparkling wine, make your own waffle -station and overnight oats - I wish I could've eaten even more than what my stomach was able to take. I think the location is also quite convenient: not right at the center but whether you have bicycles (like we did) or are travelling with public transportation, the main attractions are all quite close by.

To be honest there are not really any complaints. If something, I wish the hotel would offer bicycles with more affordable price: we ended up renting from somewhere else as this turned out to be more affordable.

Location and cleanness

‎‏I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. It’s exceptionally clean, incredibly comfortable and attentive to even the smallest details, which made me feel genuinely cared for. The location is perfect just a short walk from the park and the metro station, making it easy to explore the city. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well managed stay.
