Breakfast was fantastic and it was a wonderful change to be have a choice of menu items. Sometimes you want a light breakfast and this is the first B&B that gave us that choice. Well Done!! The room had everything we needed and Troy was a life safer for getting me access to YouTube so I could continue my fitness routine. In warmer weather I can see the outside patio area as being a wonderful place to spend time in.

This was our second stay at A Hidden Gem and we stayed in "the Loft" room. The room is both spacious and cozy at the same time, and has several little "nooks and crannies" throughout the space to cozy up and relax as well as a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. We are so glad we had some extra time to enjoy sitting in the bay window to read, and take a soak in the tub. The hosts, Sue and Troy, are spectacularly pleasant, and can point you to good restaurants and shops, all within short walking distance from the B&B. The breakfast was amazing - vegetarian quiche, fruit smoothie and delicious carrot/cranberry muffins (among a list of other great options).

The only challenge at A Hidden Gem is the staircase up to the room. For folks with accessibility needs, it may be difficult or not feasible at all to get to the room.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at A Hidden Gem Bed and Breakfast! The room is very spacious with a cozy bed; it’s more of a suite than a room, and there were 2 balconies. The bed and breakfast is centrally located in Windsor and a few blocks away from many restaurants and bars. Sue and Troy were fantastic hosts, they provided a nice breakfast and were very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Windsor or even Detroit.

Quiet and safe neighborhood. Delicious homemade breakfast with a menu to choose from. Very attentive and welcoming hosts always ready to help (one of the hosts is a charming fluffy cat). The loft suite is large and cosy, perfectly clean and well-designed, has a tea/coffee maker and a small collection of books and games (even a coloring book and pencils). Easy and flexible check-in and check-out. My bus back was in the afternoon and I was invited to stay a bit longer beyond the usual check-out time to rest before the trip. This place is truly a hidden gem and I'm happy I found it. :)

Beautiful home with a loft unit that was large and airy with both ceiling fans and air conditioning which was great on an extremely hot day. The jacuzzi tub which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was wonderful and we had on-site parking. The location was very convenient as it was near both the riverside and the Walkerville area. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

The bed was a bit small for the two of us but manageable.

The breakfasts were very yummy and made with a lot of thought. The entire house was beautiful and the Green Suite, especially, was comfortable. Sue and Troy are amazing hosts. The neighborhood is cute and the house is within walking distance to many fun spots.

The wifi was a little slow, but this was not a big deal!

This was a perfect location and in a great neighbourhood- walking distance to the river and casino, as well as restaurants. The hosts were very accommodating, welcoming, communicative and friendly. The breakfast was superb and we didn't need to eat again until dinner!!

Bathroom sink in the loft just needs a bit of draino

The beautiful red bud tree was in full bloom, parking in the driveway was nice vs street parking. Our “green” suite had a double balcony with fairy lights giving an elegant ambiance. Suite was extremely clean and comfortable with a “home” feeling. Comfy bed.

Nothing bad about it

Both the hosts Sue and Troy were very hospitable and provided a warm welcome to support the excellent facilities at the B&B. Location within Windsor was great with the most popular area for dining and shopping just 5 mins from the property. Both went above and beyond to help us with our forward travel plans.

Nothing to add....

Exceptionally friendly owners. They really assist you in any way they can. very nice room. Windsor station is at walking distance. Our train left too early to take breakfast and they prepared a take-away.
