We booked the whole house for a family holiday. It’s a home away from home. Everything you need is there. Our host, Pinky was a star! Bedrooms are spacious. Daily cleaning. Location is perfect, walking distance to a secluded beach.

The solar helps with uninterrupted supply of electricity. However the dishwasher and jacuzzi (the two things you need the most on holiday) uses solar which makes it difficult to use these if the weather is not sunny. We expected the sheets to be changed at least once if we stay a week, especially in hot weather.

We came here for our wedding anniversary trip, and the view of the sea was so beautiful, and we had a quiet and comfortable rest

We were 90% satisfied, but the 10% disappointing part was that the towel smelled a little bad and didn't tell us in advance that we should wait about 10 minutes for hot water to come out, so I thought it was broken because only cold water came out for a long time. Afterwards, hot water came out very well and the water pressure was good.

We rented the whole house for a family birthday celebration. Everything was perfect! The facilities really helped make our vacation a breeze. From the walk in cold room, to the bar area and ample space for our family, and especially having the wonderful Pinky around, to help where needed and make our stay even more comfortable.

The warm welcome from Pinky, the house is beautiful with a very big yard. You don't have to worry about load shedding because they have you covered with solar panels. The wifi is good. They have a pool table and board games for entertainment purposes.A 5 minute walk to the beach.

The pool was a bit small for a big group of people.

Danara Place is well positioned for easy access to the beach. Our room was large and comfortable with beautiful views. Pinky provided exceptional service and prepared us delicious breakfasts.

No DSTV to watch the rugby but fortunately the wifi was good and we could stream the match

We cooked for ourselves. Excellent kitchen with all the amenities we needed. It even had a cold room! The mansion has a solar power backup supply and gas. We cooked and lived life as usual during load shedding.

The photos on the website do not do it justice! The villa was incredible! Beautiful rooms with absolutely stunning views. The house manager, Pinky, was an absolute delight and so lovely. Her breakfast was delicious! An amazing stay all round. Very highly recommend and will be staying there again in future. Thank you so much to Pinky and Sean, the owner.

The position of our room and the stunning views were great. Also the lady in charge of the house looked after us really well and cooked an amazing breakfast.

The address/road name on booking.com should be the one for the front of the house. The front one is a much easier road to find and the entrance is easier to get into.

The Lodge is beautiful, with all the bells and whistles, essentially it's a home away from home.

There is no DStv or SABC channels only Netflix. There are limited places where you could purchase food from. U had to drive to Kwadukuza at bit of an inconvenience
