Parking. I was upset that a paying accommodation patron had to pay additional funds for secure and undercover parking. Your free parking is shared with the club patrons and being in Gladstone vehicle left all day in the heat is not comfortable to enter. I believe accommodation paying patrons should be entitled to secure undercover parking. Also I was not happy with free parking again as their is a club on premises I witnessed New Year Eve drunken patrons damaging other vehicles in parking lot. Not impressed as a paying occupant

We had an amazing experience staying with the Mantra. Staff were amazing, room were very clean and beds were comfy. Nice size rooms and had an awesome buffet downstairs. Pool was nice and clean. So good they always had staff at reception to help with inquiries. Staff were super friendly. We would definitely come back again and recommend this hotel for families. By far the BEST hotel we have stayed at!

There was no microwave in our room, but it's ok, it gave us the chance to explore all the yummy take away shops and restaurants in the area. We found an amazing fish n chip shop and Chinese buffet restaurant close by.

Modern facilities

Since rebranding the place seems to be not a vibrant as before. The breakfast which was paid for in the room booking had to be booked otherwise they were trying to turn us away! The lady at the counter for breakfast had zero personality (shouldn’t be working in hospitality). Breakfast not worth paying for as compared to a couple of years ago, it’s half the offering and constantly had to ask for more milk (1 small jug for everyone to use), pancake machine kept stopping. As for the room, it makes you question how clean it really is when you walk in and the rubbish bin is still full from previous guests

This is a nice hotel with decent facilities. We enjoyed the discount breakfast in the buffet and the kitchenette in our room. It was nice having the bar, restaurant and cafe on site. There was a good number of power sockets in the room and the wifi was a good speed.

A lack of storage locations in the room. Very little hanging and drawer space. It would have been nice to have a few extra options for lighting zones. And having to pay $15 per night for undercover parking was a surprise.

The room was quite and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very happy with my stay. Highly recommended!

Most of the food was good and reasonably priced. However, the room service steak meal was way overpriced and of very ordinary quality. The meal was small (smallest steak I have ever eaten) and the chips were sad compared to the beer batrtered chips that I ordered earlier. This was the most expensive meal on the menu. I am sick of getting price gouged at every turn and I intend on calling it out where I see it. A blemish on an otherwise excellent stay.

The buffet food provided was of high quality and variety and priced accordingly. Barista coffee was included in the Breakfast buffet package.

Payment for the restaurant for the evening buffet should be on entry, breakfast is optional I'm not sure how they keep track of everyone. The lady on reception was adamant we lock our vehicle up securely (which we did) but it left an uneasy feeling that perhaps we were staying in a bad part of town. We weren't eligible to go into the underground car parking as we were towing a vehicle that was slightly higher than the limit.

Very clean and tidy. Food for the buffet for dinner and breakfast were very nice. The cafe meal was ok. Chicken was very dry. Ladies in there need to be more happier and polite as the ones in the bar need to be as well. Other than that everything was good. Receptionist and housekeeper were very good and nice. Pool area was very nice and the kids enjoyed swimming in it.

I got the phone call from the hotel , telling me that I have used the mini bar , but not paid for it . Everything that I have used ( only one beer , was paid for ) I have stayed there plenty of times , and never had any issues with them . It is a great place to stay , but calling me that I haven't paid for a packet of chips or a bottle of water was disappointing. Nonetheless this is a great place to stay when in Gladstone, next time I will just have to make sure that everything is counted properly

Clean and tidy, loved the new secure car park however not 100% secure as we noticed you didn’t need access code to come and go from car park

With the food buffet having to constantly as what allergies were in what for example we had a child that was anaphylactic to gluten and another allergy to dairy so we were constantly having to check with staff what was contained in what,so allergen labeling on the food would be amazing

Breakfast staff were excellent. Really good service, great coffee and a late morning brunch from the all day breakfast menu was exceptionally high quality. Hard to beat really😎

My only gripe was no kitchen meal prep facilities in the room. Otherwise really comfortable sleeping. I did get daily noise from renovation going on but understandable. I hope once they have been finished that stays at the Mantra remain an affordable price and continue to be such good value cheers to all and well done😎
