It was a room at the rear so was very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean. Overall an 8 out of 10 for cleanliness.

It was a dark room with no overhead light which made it difficult to prepare meals or sit at the desk and work. The temperature of the shower was difficult to adjust and resulted in an almost cold, or very hot shower. Also the toilet bowl was stained and there was mould in the shower, perhaps replacement of the grout and silicone would help. The bedlight on the bathroom side of the bed seems to have a loose wire.

Typical motor inn in the suburbs of Gladstone. Spacious, well equipped room with a small terrace. Sufficiently clean. Check-in/out fully remote with key safe. Ample parking space. It's a short drive to the town center, also possible to walk. There's an Aldi nearby. Good value, great for a stopover or short business trip.

Internet speed could be improved

The bed was very comfortable, the pool was clean and lovely to swim in. The room its self was fine.

Not enough toilet paper, no tea towel or dishwasher liquid. Message on tissue box to use to clean up make up but no tissues. No hand towels or face washers. Car parks not designated to rooms. Should be able to park in front of room.

The property was quiet. After a long drive, it was nice to be able to relax in a fairly quiet property. The bed was comfortable and the room was very large.

The one thing I felt was lacking in my room was a kettle. I searched for it but couldn’t find it. I see the microwave provided to heat up the water for a tea, which was still fine.

The staff member was very helpful in sorting out an issue (some of the power points were not working (so no TV) and the main light either), which was sorted out promptly so much appreciated.

If a quick check of the room was done to test the lights and power points then the above would not have happened. But due to the quick response it wasn't an issue.

The little things, like the bottled water, coffee tea and biscuits, the on-site restaurant with yummy food for a worker needing a good feed. The in room facilities like microwave and toaster. Access to a laundry. Everything excellent. When one travels for work your so tied when you arrive you just need all of that. I love it there, will be back next year on my work journey.

The entire property is clean and tidy / just well kept and loved by the mangers/owners. Total credit to those who are involved in keeping so lovely.

Excellent facilities, great salt water swimming pool. The friendly staff took care of all of our needs, we booked 3 X rooms for late night check-in with no fuss, the staff made sure our keys were in a lock box, they sent out a friendly text including room instructions etc... and wifi code which when your the road driving long hours makes a world of difference

We have nothing to complain about, it was a relaxing a refreshing stay for a bunch of weary travellers, I'll definitely recommend the Gladstone Palms Motor Inn to family and friends.

This was a good, affordable, older style motel. The room was large with a double bed, fridge, jug, toaster, coffee/ tea/ milk, and basic toiletries. We booked 3 rooms for the night before heading to Heron Island. We arrived after 6.00pm and got a phone message from reception telling us our room numbers, where to find the key, and the wifi password. There were no issues with check-in or departure.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Assisted, without issue with some small requests. The room staff were very helpful and friendly. Staff maintain a very clean environment, indoors and out.

Was in a great location. And very convenient for what we needed to do. And a good price too We will book in again next year when the festival comes round again.

The aircon was a little noisy but apart from that everything was fine we didn't get to use the pool but hopefully next time we can have a swim and a look around the place.
