The staff went above and beyond. they decorated the room for my daughters birthday, set up dinner reservations at a fun location, requested the restaurant to have a cake for her birthday, and set up transportation.

The pool could stay open a little later in the evening.

Breakfast was very good with good range of variation. My room was changed without informing me in advance, so I'd say communication wasn't so great. Most of the staff are helpful; I received good recommendations from Abdessamie, but not all of them had the similar level of attentiveness. Reception was helpful, but I had a lost item they didn't assist in getting back to me while I was in Tangier. Overall, I wouldn't come back, and would stay somewhere else for my next visit to morocco as I also wouldn't recommend it.

I wasn't offered to be taken and shown around or my room at check in. Not guest-friendly, I had a friend who was made unwelcome. I had a reasonable request that was initially refused, but then I had to ask multiple times which then was accommodated by other team member. Staff sometimes shown reluctance to assist. I also had a bad experience on two occasions, as staff lacking customer service knowledge with unprofessional approach, and very uncomfortable. Ironing facility was absent. I didn't experience none of the above in my 3/4 star hotel stay, and indeed had a much better experience comparatively. I would say, you can potentially stay in a lower star hotel and have a much better experience.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is beautiful and we had a wonderful room. It’s also located in an extremely convenient location, you can walk 10-20 minutes and get to many places. The staff were friendly and I appreciated how there was always someone available. Room and bathroom were spacious. Plenty of storage room. If I needed somewhere to stay, I would book again. They also decorated my room for my birthday which I greatly appreciated.

The bathroom has a half door, which I’ve noticed is common in other countries, so it wasn’t a huge deal but I had to be more mindful of how I used the shower head.

- Exceptional welcome from Ahmad, very cheerful and professional person. It was always nice to be greeted with his smile everytime we bumped into each other and even helped us with translation when hiring a car. - Reception Staff are very currteous and efficient, Got hints on travel places to go visit - Immaculate cleansing of your room by the Housekeeping, probably the best refresh of our room over the close to 100 Hotels we stayed in. She is Superb and passionate about her work. - Breakfast is always the cherry on a cake or deal breaker, Well the variety was immense. The Staff were very good and food was fresh. - The valet were friendly, even though we didn't have car they smiled and greeted us whenever we passed by them which was courteous and professional. - The Lifeguard at the Pool is a gentle and very kind guy, He was always quick to help with towels/umbrellas and aligning them perfectly depending on the sun. Very thoughtful and professional. All in all, we couldn't fault anything Staff or service, Unbelievable hospitality throughout.

- good luck finding something not to like about this Hotel. It supercedes European Hotels by a mile and half. This is Africa! (A wonderful place to be)

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. A special thanks goes to the superstar of the hotel, Mr. Yasser. His dedication and commitment to ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience truly stand out. His friendly demeanor and attention to detail made my stay unforgettable. I would also like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Yousra from housekeeping. Her amazing services and meticulous care in maintaining the room were beyond impressive. She ensured that everything was spotless and comfortable, adding a personal touch that made me feel truly pampered. The food was excellent at the breakfast and for dinner. There was a very big choice and lovely products. The room was nice and clean. The staff were attentive. Our daughter was sick in the night and they immediately brought new sheets for the bed. The location was good for restaurants, the beach and the mall which had some very nice shopping and entertainment for kids.

The spa had a pool but it was 30 euros to use it for one hour which I think was too expensive. The pool buttons didn’t work for the jacuzzi and looked old. The outdoor swimming pool did not seem to be set up for swimming. There were no beds for sunbathing and no one was ever swimming there. The restaurant looked into it and considering the majority of women were covered I did not feel comfortable swimming there. There was nowhere to change our baby in the lobby after check out which created a bit of a problem.

Royal Tulip is a 10 minute walk from the railway station. Upon arrival Youssef gave a warm welcome and was so professional with his check in and charming courtesy, pointing out local sights, methods of transport etc., to maximise our stay. The room was stunning, with city views, clean, comfortable and with ambient lighting. Bathroom well appointed and spacious and well lit. An excellent place to relax and wake up refreshed.

No clear signage for allergies and sadly the staff did not understand the importance of clear labelling and food knowledge. The lack of knowledge and labelling puts the traveller who has dietary requirements for example: vegan, especially with severe allergies i.e. nut and dairy at risk. As a result although we paid for breakfast my partner could only have hot water, a few pieces of pineapple and orange. So disappointing!

the staff was professionnal and always smiling ( at the reception, at the breakfast restaurant) we had requested check in at 12h30 through booking and it was approved and the check-in went in smoothly and quickly. we also got upgraded to a queen twin room with a nice view and got a welcome fruit plate and cookies. we appreciated the gesture which made us feel welcome. During breakfast , the team there was very attentive to our needs. special thanks to moad, ismail , ahmed, ... we also liked the meat tagine that we had ordered on room service. it was delicious.

nothing worth mentioning

The hotel is in the centre of downtown and a 10 minute walk from the beach. The staff are absolutely wonderful and so helpful. Starting from the bell boys Hasan was incredibly helpful and friendly, he brought us extra towels and slippers on arrival and gave us lots of recommendations. He would also be there every night to park the car and welcome us back from our day trips. House keeping was excellent. The restaurant manager aziz was so friendly and attentive and was always checking up on us during breakfast making sure we weren’t missing anything. Abdulsamee and Karim were very helpful in valet parking and bid us farewell with a smile. The facilities are top notch, the rooms are spacious and beautiful, the balcony was ocean view and waking up to it every morning was something to look forward to. The pool was well tempered, pool side food (octopus) was exceptional. All the staff working in the hotel were trying their best everyday to make our stay as fantastic as possible and it worked.

Lumpy high pillows

They upgraded us to a bigger room with a balcony. It was a nice size room for 2 people. The location was good, easy to walk on the beach and around at the lower level. Has a spa and gym. We used the spa services for a massage and Hammon. It was generally a quiet room.

The rooms could use some updating. Paint is starting to peel, chair was stained, door handle of bathroom door was coming apart. It would've been easier if there was an English speaking person at the spa services. Very difficult to communicate. She had to either call someone else or go and get someone. A little English for a hotel that serves an International community of tourist seems essential.
