This is the best hotel that we booked on our road trip from Auckland to Wellington. It was very spacious and included a kitchenette. The kitchenette had everything from pots to cutlery. Lady at the front reception was very helpful and lovely. You won’t disappoint staying here.

Nothing was bad.

Motel was very cheap, on a main road, hence a little noisy if you are not used to traffic, but not excessive and the room was comfortable. Had all the necessary requirements to self cater including to electric elements for cooking and all other normal basic amenities.The room was a good size and had an outlook towards a grassed area. .

It was clean, spacious, value for money and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Even though there wasn’t air con thankfully there was a fan which we used as it was humid. The motel is close to a supermarket and other amenities. The staff were friendly.

Room was a good size. Beds were very comfortable. In spite of being on main highway room was relatively quiet. The only noise we heard from other occupants was if they were walking up the stairs outside

Unfortunately the TV only worked properly for about an hour, it probably needs a new Sky Box. One of the bedside lights did not work. There was no tea towel and the table felt sticky. No other complaints

I liked the boss who was at the front office, very helpful.

We were still sleeping at 8am tired from a long drive the previous night from Taranaki just to be woken up with a stubborn girl who just offered towels and disturbed our sleep. Unprofessional housekeeper & can’t even say good morning, just straight away said “here’s your towel”

Well, there are of course better accommodations around than this one, but in my opinion it definitely scores better than the 5.5 score that it currently has. We stayed in a renovated room which was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Staff is friendly, location is okay. Maybe we were just lucky, but we had a good stay.

Wifi didn't reach our room, and the road is clearly noticeable.
