Staff were friendly and helpful, happy to give recommendations on places to eat and places to visit. Helpful with dorectioyand information on public services. Prompt correspondence to emails Room was small but had very comfortable twin beds Bathroom was quite spacious with a very good shower Bed and bath linen was clean and fresh

Room was a little hot and stuffy but there was no fan Stairs to the room were steep but this was advertised fully before booking A fuller explanation of the use of metal external steps to access room between 1am and noon might be helpful. We found them a little treacherous in the wet

The decor and atmosphere of the rooms and pub were just amazing. The artwork was quirky, the rooms comfy, and despite being literally IN a pub there was barely a noise to be heard. Amber and Trudy down in the bar couldn’t have been more welcoming, helpful, accommodating, and just generally awesome. For the bar there was an amazing selection of beers and ales on tap, and both the indoor and outdoor areas had a really cosy vibe.

I was a bit feart of all the plug adapters joined together in the room, and I did find a random ice lolly stick down the side of the bed, but otherwise it was clean and tidy.

The Crown Inn in Sheffield is a great spot for travelers looking for a comfortable stay close to the city center. The rooms are clean, well-kept, and provide everything needed for a good night's rest. Despite being above a pub, noise isn't an issue, making it a solid choice for those wanting a balance between relaxation and accessibility. For thirsty travelers, the pub downstairs is a major plus. There's a great selection of beers, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors. It's the kind of place where you can unwind with a pint after a day out in Sheffield. While it’s not a luxury hotel, it delivers exactly what you’d expect at its price point—good accommodation, a central location, and a proper pub experience. If you're after a no-fuss stay with character, it's well worth the money.

The en-suite room was based above a Camra GBG listed pub (3/4 different casks plus 8/9 keg beers). Location was great for Kelham Island and within a short hop on the bus from the station. Restaurants were about a 10 minute uphill walk. The rooms were of a good size with tv, clean, good lighting. The bathroom was also a reasonable size. Plenty of toilet paper and shower gel and shampoo provided. Room was warm with radiators on and good hot water pressure. Very good welcome from bar staff on check in and clear instructions provided.

The bed whilst ultimately having a comfortable mattress and pillows was very low down compared with most hotels. The shower cubicle was also small for me. WiFi was inconsistent at times. Some external noise as you might expect but this came from the street and not the pub.

Given the cost, this is a very nice facility. Room is large enough, clean, and met our expectations. Beds were relatively comfortable. I liked that it was obvious a thoughtful effort was put into the place. The staff in the bar below are cheerful and friendly. Parking on the street was ok.

As there was no A/C and it was very hot, we slept with the windows open. Below us at 1am, some drunkard stumbled out of the bar and was arguing with his partner. He was yelling across the street. Then around 7:30am there must be a childcare nearby because we heard child after child screaming as they were being dropped off.

Excellent location, only 10 minutes walk to either Kelham Island or the city centre. Rooms are situated above a cracking pub, that served ever changing selection of real ales. We were greeted as friends when we arrived and all of the staff we met couldn't be more helpful. Easy check in and the rooms have 24 hour access around the back of the pub itself, via the beer garden/yard. Room was clean, well decorated and maintained. Perfect for a short stay in Sheffield.

The room was maybe a touch expensive for what it was, facilities were quite basic and the room itself a bit small. Neither of which impacted on our enjoyable stay at the Crow.

This is a fantastic hidden gem in the heart of Sheffield that needs to be shouted about. We stayed here as a base this weekend just gone as 4 girls for close proximity to the peaks and also the city centre so we could have the best of both and the location is ideal. The pub is inviting, cosy and friendly and definitely exceeded our expectations with how great staff the are, super comfortable bed and well appointed room for the price that is nicely decorated and very clean. The location is on a quiet street and it’s a stones throw into the town by foot whilst parking is right outside and £1 per hour and only until 8:30pm. The drinks selection was really good and they have a cute little courtyard outside as well as a night entrance once the pub shuts which was perfect. We really enjoyed our trip and would definitely return in the future!

The towels could have been a bit bigger.

We stopped here after watching a show in Sheffield. Only 10 minutes walk to City Hall even with my bad knee:-) After booking we received a very nice message telling us about the facilities and check in and check out details including good advice about parking - we pre booked the Solly Street NCP car park a few minutes walk away for 24 hours for £7.45 On arrival the staff were very friendly and showed you around. The room was fine with a good shower. The linen was clean and smelt very fresh. The 11am checkout time which is a bit later than many other places was a bonus. For a city centre place it was also very quiet even with a bedroom window overlooking the road. And then there were the beers. So many and the staff were very knowledgeable about them.

I could not find a fault with it.

Good location very close to the centre, note if staying on a weekday the nursery next door is quite noisy. Stayed in the tripple room. Simple check in & out process. Simple & clean room, spacious & bright, liked the local artwork. comfy bed. The pub downstairs is great, cozy decor & reasonable prices. Would recommend this place & will likely rebook for next year.

Not a lot to dislike, adding a small fridge in the room would be a massive bonus.

Ideally situated in Sheffield. A 15-20 minute walk(if you know the way) from station to location. 10 minutes away from the bars, eateries or in my case, Yellow Arch Studios in the area of Kelham Island. A very warm welcome on arrival with the team member explaining location of room. Along with exit and entry to the property after hours. Comfortable size room with its own bathroom. Plenty of tea(Yorkshire) and coffees in the room. Will have no worries about returning here in the future.

Nothing to dislike. Perfect location
