honestly one of the cleanest & modern hotels we’ve ever stayed at. super super beautiful renovation’s & beautiful interior design. the outside pool area was super cute as well although it was definitely a bit too cold to actually swim at this time of the year but it was still nice. the lobby was very cute as well, they have cabinets filled with stuff you might need. we even didn’t bring the right plug converter for Canadian plugs and they had a bunch that were left by other guests and they even let us keep it for the rest of our travels. super kind management and amazing hotel. also, the location is amazing if you want to stay in old Lagos. it was in the middle of a bunch of restaurants and shops. me and my boyfriend are really picky and usually we are uncomfortable in hotels because they aren’t as clean or nice as advertised but everything was so clean. I wasn’t afraid to shower like I usually am in other hotels lol. and the sheets and towels were all fresh and clean. one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at.

First compliment is to the staff. Celina & Caterina. Great communication and help throughout the whole booking/stay. We loved Casa Margot . Beautiful well equipped accomodation right in the middle of everything. The hosts have done everything to provide a top notch style of apartment accomodation. Well equipped, and very spacious with great bathroom, shower pressure, large comfortable beds. We were in apartment 17 which looked over the square. Unfortunately we had very noisy residents above us & I have read this in previous reviews. It may be this apartment not great if the unit above is occupied.

We loved our stay here apart from one sleepless night when people in the room above were very noisy into early hours. The management tried to address the matter but I’m not sure I would want to stay in that particular apartment again. Apart from that we could not fault a thing about this beautiful accomodation. We loved our stay here.

Loved how central it was - literally stepped out the door into the cutest part of town, but still nice and quiet at night. The place was clean, comfy, and had everything we needed (including a Nespresso machine & beach towels). We even used the terrace for a bit of morning Pilates. One morning we grabbed breakfast from a local coffee place and ate it up at their sister spot, The Salty Lodge - the views over the old town and sea were stunning! Host was great at keeping in touch, and the check-in was smooth.

There was a bit of a weird smell from the bathroom at times - nothing major, just something we noticed. Didn’t spoil anything though!

Lovely small bright and sunny room with a kitchen, dining table, couch, large Smart TV, double bed, ceiling fan and air-conditioning. Two French doors overlooking a small, quaint and lively square, one opening onto a balcony that’s shared with other rooms. Excellent location in the heart of the old town. Easy 10 minute walk from the main train station and the bus depot. Easy walk to the beaches. The small kitchen has everything you may need including a dishwasher. Good water pressure in the shower and plenty of room for your things. No lift to the first floor but we didn’t find that a problem. Caterina was lovely and showed us around the property. You enter the property using a code which you also use to enter your room. Free bike hire. Very small pool, good for a dip to cool off but not for a swim. Since there wasn’t a 24-hour reception, they had a series of cupboards which contained things like beach towels, toilet paper, Olive oil, vinegar, pepper and salt, etc. which you could use should you run out of something. We simply loved overlooking the small square which always had something interesting going on and we loved our stay.

The bed was not comfortable, nor were the pillows. No kitchen paper. An absorbent cloth to dry the kitchen bench top would have been very handy. A small shelf in the shower to place some shampoo and soap, etc.

The location is excellent close to the old town shops and restaurants and a short walk away across the inlet to the marina and beautiful beaches. Ther accommodation is excellent so well appointed and beautiful communal spaces both inside and pool area.Lovly little welcome of butter,honey and jam starter pack for first breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful,we had a slight problem outside normal hours and it was sorted with a phone call and fixed within the hour.Would highly recommended.

We over look the beautiful square and a julett balcony but unfortunately some of the local alcohol drinkers congregated there and it could get quite noisy.ones the doors were closed we could not hear them .

One of the most amazing experiences in Portugal. From the premium checkin experience to the homely welcome by Catarina. Catarina gave us the most gracious welcome into the property with a complete download of the city. Her everyday smiles and recommendations really made us feel like we’re welcome and at the right place. Compliments to the interior design efforts. The studio was very cozy, comfortable and was everything we were looking for. From a fully stacked kitchen, clean and spacious room, wardrobe space - value for money. The location was bang centre of old town. Couldn’t have been more centre. The pool area and cute morning coffee areas really were the icing on the cake. From having bikes to rent, beach towels and connections with tours. Highly recommend. Will come back here - eyes closed. Truly 5 star experience.

Mostly everything! Beautiful location- on a charming square- super responsive hosts- apartment/room was super clean- comfortable- as described. Super close walk to EVERYTHING- great restaurants- Black and White everyday! Don't bother with anything else! The beach, the marina, stores, etc..

The ONLY complaint is the people staying above us sounded like a heard of elephants until past 11pm at night- and I had earplugs in and white noise machine on. (I'm an early to bed person) Maybe a family...moving furniture it sounded like...I did NOT tell our gracious hosts b/c there was NOTHING she could have done. Not sure how you solve that problem. I would stay here again- BUT- only on the top floor so not to have this issue again.

The building is beautiful and the rooms are wonderful mini apartments - mine had very high ceilings and a balcony which overlooked the square. The property had air conditioning which was essential for the heatwave and the staff was extremely friendly giving recommendations of where to go and the best beaches. There were also lots of useful „extras“ included like a sun umbrella to take to the beach.

The pool is quite small but this is understandable given the location/size of the property. My room could be a bit loud in the evenings but nothing that some ear plugs can’t fix !

Absolutely gorgeous property. White, clean, modern and immaculate. Location cannot be any better, right in the heart of town. Staff very nice and helpful, especially Catarina. They are available in the property from 9-6. Well stocked apartment with some welcome goodies too. Tea, coffee, oranges available at the reception as well Daily cleaning included (no dishes but primarily bed) Free bikes to use Pool (though wasn't heated but would be great in summer) Can use their sister property (salty lodge) in town which was equally lovely and has amazing ocean views from rooftop We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again without hesitation

Two main things we didn't like: -there were some iffy people right outside the apartment with a cannabis store, making it uncomfortable at times -no washing machine and cost of laundry was too high (€30 for one load) Small upgrades the staff can make (and I did not cut any rating due to this): -lacking proper placement of hooks in the bathroom (there were a couple but in places hard to use) -bowls and coffee mugs were all too large, adding some small ones would be great Also, parking isn't allowed within city walls but the walk to the free parking lot was super easy

Fabulous location right at the main plaza and minutes from everything. Even so the apartment is super quiet. It is a modern, well designed, with everything you need for a great stay. The rooms are large, furnished well and maintained. There is a ton of storage space. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We also visited the rooftop of the sister property; a nice amenity. We highly recommend this property.

Later in our stay a family moved in above us and you could hear the children’s footsteps as they ran back & forth.
