Location - a stones throw from the beach and the lovely bars and restaurants that spill out on to the sands. Also, within easy walking distance to the WW2 Dunkirk evacuation museum. Clean and nicely decorated room with a balcony with chairs and a table and a view of the beach. Great, friendly staff. Has a lovely restaurant and bar.

A 2 star hotel but definitely worth more. They only thing that was 2 stars was the small bathroom which was worned and needed some fixing. Running water, loose paper holder, loose toilet seat etc. Excellent location, close to beach, museums and restaurants. 12 min drive to Fort des Dunes. Good beds, thin walls - you could hear the neighbours. Good breakfast (extra cost: 10 euro for adults, 6 euro for kids). Our balcony was not towards the beach which was good because it was warm and very windy. Very friendly staff and great food in their restaurant.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Le Transat Bleu. Our room was very inviting, clean and spacious, with a balcony that had a view of the nearby beach. The hotel was in walking distance to many of the attractions in Dunkerque.

It was a good stop over. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental with a good choice. Hotel currently being renovated so didn't look it's best externally and en-suite facilities could do with updating but for the price it was great value.

The location was perfect right by the beach and many restaurants. Parking was free and plenty of it. The staff were very polite and couldn't do enough for you. Thank you really enjoyed our stay.

The only thing I wasn't keen on was the toilet, it was quite noisy and you could hear when the rooms next to you used there's.

Definitely book a room with a balcony, worth a few extra $. The staff are friendly.

Unfortunately, I'd read another review and they are right - the towels need replacing, thin and rough.

Lovely terrace. Easy to find. Close to waterfront and an abundance of restaurants and bars.

Breakfast could have been better

The location is superb. Manager is very helpful and friendly. Food is lovely. Very dog friendly, including in the restaurant.

The bathrooms could do with a bit of updating
