This was a studio apartment with a very small basic kitchenette located in the middle of Fremantle. The train and bus station were a six minute walk and Bathers Beach a similar distance. The bed was comfortable and the studio had a good shower and bathroom. It was clean and comfortable and had a good TV.

The kitchenette was smaller than we had expected from photographs. Whilst it was equipped with a micro wave oven, a toaster, kettle and two ringed hob, the work surface was too small to be able to prepare food and wash up afterwards. Steve helped us out and was very accommodating by providing an extra table next to the worktop and sink. These apartments are perfect if you intend to eat out, but you are limited to what you can do self catering.

I love the Rialto and hope to make it my 'go to' place whenever I stay in Fremantle. The location is superb. Surrounded by historic buildings with a few seaside seagulls circling the funky shops and eateries. But most of all, the Rialto itself is so lovely. Those old stone walls exude a sense of peace and space. The place is a little quirky which I like. You will see for yourself when you get here. So, the room. Mine was basic but comfy and spacious with everything you could need. Great water pressure in the shower and comfy chairs as well. I hope to book the 2-bedroom suite with my family sometime. It's great to have a kitchenette and most importantly, my bed was so so comfortable. Oh, and the hosts, Steve and Monica are really friendly and helpful and make you feel at home.

Our week at the Rialto Suites was fantastic! We enjoyed the superb location, the quiet and comfortable rooms, the private balcony areas (2) and the capacity to cook light meals and use the onsite laundry. These home comforts were much appreciated, particularly when we wanted some downtime from sightseeing during our week long stay. The wood fixtures and furniture and the artwork make these rooms unique and lovely too.

Some additional items for cooking, as well as more cutlery and crockery would be great!

The location is excellent. We wanted something close to the Rottnest island sea link departure and got it. Bonus was all the restaurants within walking distance. The building is two stories with an elevator, so no stair climbing! The interior of the suites are very well done with a gorgeous rock wall. There is also a laundromat on the ground level. Parking was easy and right beside the building. There wasn’t somebody at the front desk much. We were there on the weekend, so I think their hours are much shorter.

Pillows! I know it’s a first world problem, but what’s the deal with serving up flat as a pancake or big, hard as a rock pillows ? My husband had to go out and buy one 🤷‍♀️

Fantastic accommodation in a very convenient location. The building is beautiful, and the apartments are clean and well equipped. The apartments are a good size and have great modern features whilst maintaining some heritage. The security of the building and the rooms is great. Staff are very helpful, welcoming, and friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Rialto Suites Fremantle.

The bed was a little too firm for my liking, and the pillows were very flat, I needed to use 2 to be comfortable. Luckily enough, they supply spares in the cupboard. Whilst the bidet was a touch of heritage, its position in the bathroom was a bit of a hazard, as I almost fell over it a couple of times after stepping back from the sink.

Lovely stay, great location in the middle of Freo city centre. I loved that everything was within walking distance, the esplanade, the weekend market and lots of F&B. We booked a parking lot for $20 a day, and it was very conveniently located near the entrance of the hotel. The room was clean, the bed comfy and the wooden decor was warm and cozy. The kitchenette is small but has everything you might need. Steve was very friendly and helpful during check in and he made sure to prepare a baby cot for us. All in all had a great stay here and would definitely recommend!

The pillows were a bit too soft, and when we tried watching tv, the Netflix app was very laggy and kept getting stuck.

Location, nice, well-appointed room. Able to use laundry for free after 4 pm.

Almost felt haunted. There was never any one at reception, although just a phone call away. Instructions for retrieving my room key were sent via message to my phone. Alas, I have been unable to connect to cellular network while in Australia and never received the instructions. I arrived at the Rialto to find a message on the door to call if there was a problem. I am deeply grateful to the 2 young men I stopped on the street who used their phone to call for me.

Rialto Suites is an apartment hotel with a basic kitchenette so it can't really be compared to a hotel room. The property is old (historic!), but the owners stay on top of maintaining and improving it. The price was reasonable for our stay, and the ability to eat some food in with basic utensils, etc., was a plus. The location is superb for getting all over Fremantle, and the double-paned windows kept the room quiet enough for peaceful sleep even though the bar across the street was quite lively on a Saturday night. The boutique under the hotel on the street is not to be missed by any woman who likes sassy clothes and color.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Steve and team were excellent hosts, cherry on the cake was was the free laundry facility. Well appreciated after 3 weeks on the road. Great location, walk to everything you need and more. It’s our 4th time of staying in Fremantle and this will be our return go to as and when we can return. As others have mentioned, noise from drinkers outside can be heard at the weekend but that’s not the venue’s problem. Very clean room, had everything we needed plus that little bit extra space that a regular hotel room can’t give. Nice way to finish our trip off in Australia.

The location was just a short walk from everything. Staff were great and were able to accommodate for my very early arrival. They kept features from the original building to create a feature wall. FOBs used instead of keys and the doors auto lock when closed. Double entrance, which is a nice feature. Larger room than what I was expecting

Rooms were not cleaned every day (not a dislike but didn't realised, though not an issue) The hallways were often very dimly lit, especially the staircase entrance from the main road.
