The breakfasts were very nice with a good selection. The bed was quite comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive. Access was reasonable for me, being partially disabled, however, we didn't notice the disabled parks, which would have made parking a lot easier for me, instead of having to be dropped off, while my husband found a park down the lot.

At breakfast the first morning when offered a tea, coffee or hot chocolate, I asked if they had lactose free milk and the young girl said yes, so I accepted a hot chocolate. The shocking result from consuming said lactose free hot chocolate, suggested that it was NOT lactose free and I did not appreciate said result at all. I looked at the milk bottles that were being used the next morning and there was no lactose free milk there. Suggest staff be fully versed in what is and is not lactose free to prevent other customers having an unpleasant experience. Staff member may have been new to the job.

there were suppose to be a breakfast but the restaurant was close.. a bit disappointed because I booked the hotel with breakfast included. I got the breakfast but pre-made. I was looking forward but anyway..

There is no staff... sooo i think I suggest even though there is a public holiday, you guys should have some staff... also when I SMS, please reply to it.. also, there is no information about close restaurant, at least let me know when I booked that breakfast will be pre-made, because I was expecting to eat the food at the hotel. also, wifi was bad... smart tv wasn't working properly I SMS so many times to whoever been SMS my mobile but no answer at all disappointing

The hotel is nice and the rooms were comfortable. It is located in the proximity of the city and the receptionist helped us with late check-in and with recommendations for things to do in the area. The staff are so friendly and helped us even late at night, when the reception was closed, because the booking was done not properly.

At the time of the booking, they stated that the restaurant in the hotel will be open and we will have breakfast. They ended up leaving a breakfast box in our room and the restaurant was closed. We booked for a late check-in and the room we booked were not all reserved for us. But they managed to send us someone to give us the extra room we booked.

It was very good quality and the bed was really comfortable. We arrived late but the hotel left clear instructions on where to access our room key. My husband was not well and they gave us a complimentary extension of the check out time. Only 30 mins but it helped.

It was difficult to locate. We drove past it as did not realise its signage was just an “R”. Perhaps patrons should be told this so do not waste time looking for a hotel sign that says “Remington”. I didn’t like that there was no complimentary water in a suite. That is surely a basic.

The room was very clean, though a little too fragranced. The bathroom was very clean, with very hot water and excellent water pressure, making for a great shower. All the staff were lovely. A special shout out to Cate who was on reception when I checked in and out. Ample parking. Good breakfast. No audible traffic noise when the doors were shut, despite being on the main road. All around a very pleasant stay

I had the room right next to the security door, which was banging all night as guests entered and exited.

We had dinner in the very pleasant restaurant. The food was excellent in quality, presentation and price. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and beautifully presented with many choices. We were very impressed with The Remington which was recommended to us by a friend. We would stay again, and recommend The Remington.

We were surprised to find a large colony of fruit bats at the property at rear of the motel. However, they did not bother us at all.

What a great find. My sister and I were travelling to see our father and stopped in Muswellbrook to break the trip. After a long day at work and then a 3.5 hour drive this motel was the perfect end to a big day. We were greeted by a lovely lady at reception and a glass of bubbly. What a wonderful welcome! The relaxing dining room had a great menu and delicious food. After a great nights sleep the breakfast buffet was the perfect way to start the day. Just amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

I love the breakfast and lunch options. Always comfortable and friendly staff. Great food and had a squiz in the restaurant as well this time round. Will def be back there soon.

The parking is always a bit tight if you come late (work late) and the wifi is on the poor side. Sometimes the bats smell a fair bit, but noise is not an issue if your door closed. Good sound proofing.

Everything. Most particularly the lovely and professional staff. When I was unexpectedly hospitalised in Muswellbrook then Maitland they couldn’t have provided better help to my wife who has mobility problems. They ensured she had a good breakfast, packed our luggage into our car for her and refused to charge a late checkout fee.

Rooms a good size. Rooms & public areas very clean & tidy. Back rooms have nice nature views, including bat colony. Surprisingly quiet given it’s on the main road to Singleton. Comfy king size bed. Good shower. Toiletries from an Australian company that use natural ingredients. Property looks relatively new & is well presented. On-site bar & restaurant.

Continental breakfast is pretty basic but offers fresh fruit among choices - they need to offer wholemeal/grain bread in addition to white. On-site restaurant menu is pretty limited & not very innovative (but maybe that suits most guests). Air con seems oversized for room - felt we were getting blasted. There are no self-catering facilities, other than a jug for making tea/coffee.
