Nice location and price. We were on our road trip and need to find somewhere to stay for avoid night drive. Gowrie was only option at that day as I remember and it was pretty comfy! It looks like an Airbnb to me meaning it more like a warm, casual stay. The lady waiting for us was really friendly! It was also easy to drive to Singleton Main Street by car.

The shower didn't rinse properly because it is a bit old and rusty. If you need a very quiet environment for sleeping then the walking sounds from upstairs might annoy you a little bit. I can live with it.

Easy to find, it's a house rather than a motel but you walk straight into your room - no having to walk through shared areas. Clean, comfortable, everything worked well, great shower, lovely owner, easy check-in - called the number and the owner came to meet us straight away.

My only comment/criticism - and it is a very minor, petty one - those small milk containers with the straws on the back are impossible to open without it going everywhere!! It is not within walking distance of any shops, pubs, dinner etc. That didn't worry us but it probably is worth considering.

The staff member who met us was absolutely delightful. Charming and courteous. She showed us to our room, which was one of the rooms within a new block. Kitchen facilities were shared among the 3-5 units within this block and the kitchen was very well appointed. We did not use it though.

I would not say we didn't like it, but the garden approaches to the unit were a little untidy. It didn't matter to us at all, but if the approach was a little tidier (e.g. no weeds, perhaps some plants in pots etc.) it would create a better impression.

Meg was amazing. I was there for my son’s army graduation. She accommodated on very short notice the soldiers without families there for their graduation. To stay with us. ❤️ Was very understanding & tolerated of their celebrations & energy at gowrie. It meant so much to those boys not being alone back on base. And Meg understood that & was very happy to accommodate them all.❤️ amazing gardens & flowers around the property too.

Comfortable clean and good facilities. Large lounge and kitchen although I had no real use for them. Nice location even if a little out of town if that’s an issue. I was happy to catch a taxi if I needed to.

Nothing of note considering the price.

Last minute booking -staff obliging and good value. Clean and lots of provisions in share kitchen. Garden has potential to be beautiful but at the moment out of control.

Didn’t realise it was a room in a share house but turn out fine because we were the only guests. I was in a hurry when booking and just thought it was a motel room.

A very pleasant property in a quiet location. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The room and shared kitchen/lounge/bathroom were well maintained and clean. I received a free room upgrade to a larger room with a private bathroom, which was very much appreciated. Comfortable room with everything one could need.

Very clean throughout, comfortable beds, great facilities, nice large room, everything was well laid out and provided to us, the host Meg met us when we arrived to show us around, quiet location and our dog was very happy too. Bathroom looked like it was recently renovated. Some furniture was a bit dated but worked well and is to be expected. Great value for money.

New stylish rooms, new shiny facilities. Quite and comfortable, excellent to come, take shower and fall asleep.

Air conditioner control is centralized, need to leave room and press buttons at the hall. Not a big deal anyway, simply need to write something I don't like.

Nice home like environment. The host Meg is very nice and welcoming lady. We enjoyed the pool, her garden and experienced the biodiversity. Very quiet and convenient. Wishing prosperity for them. Must go to the farms and valley lookout just 500 meters down from the accomodation.
