Beautiful location in close proximity to many great wine farms. Breakfast and dinners (both at Botanica and eRemo - Spicers Guesthouse) were fantastic, unforgettable experiences. Staff are really friendly and extra helpful. The pool and spa pool were fantastic on the warm spring afternoons. Complimentary e-bikes available for use which we took out for the day to explore all of the nearby wine farms - e assistance makes it very easy to get up and down the hills on the bike paths. Everything you could really want or need for a relaxing, romantic getaway in the beautiful Hunter Valley area.

Nothing - great experience overall.

We loved our stay at Spicers Vineyards. A two-night getaway to explore the Hunter. I’d highly recommend getting the breakfast/dinner package. There are two other Spicers properties in the region and you can use your dinner package at any of them. We had our two dinners offsite and our breakfasts at Botanical (Vineyards). All of it was exceptional). We returned from breakfast to find our rooms already made up and the fireplace burning. The hot tub was welcome at the end of the day. Staff were helpful and attentive.

That we only stayed for two nights! I’m thinking hard and can’t think of anything that we didn’t like.

Spicers went above and beyond to make our honeymoon stay a wonderful experience! The room was cozy with a comfortable bed and fire place and the bathroom very luxurious with a big spa bath next to opening french windows! The breakfast at Botanica was wonderful and the service there was excellent! We'll be back for our anniversaries in the future for sure!

The spa pool, next to the pool, wasn't heated very well, so we weren't able to use it, as it was too cold.

A quiet resort, set amongst lovely gum trees and vineyards. Nice to have restaurant on site for breakfast, good coffee, nice outlook and friendly staff, especially Peter on reception, he was so helpful and friendly. Sadly we didn’t realise Botanical wasn’t open on Monday or Tuesday. We went to Muse restaurant, Peter offered to drive us and we could taxi back. it was exceptional.

Large rooms but needs another TV on wall in front of Bed. TVs are cheap these days and needs a better coffee machine. Quality Pods but coffee machine not hot enough and then when u add milk coffee is cold. No way to heat up. Only a couple of little things but would have made a big difference.

Breakfast was good though not sure why a croissant was served at the start.

Dinner menu was limited. We hired 2 bikes, both had very hard seats which made riding for more than 30 minutes a time difficult and neither my partner nor my feet could touched the ground. I understand you can't cater for all shapes and sizes but we're both very average height

Breakfast was a la carte with a good range to select from which we much prefer to buffet style. Rooms were spacious with all the amenities that we could possibly need. Rooms were cleaned and reset while we were at breakfast. We have NEVER experienced that efficiency before. All staff were very friendly and obviously enjoyed working there. The pool and warm spa were great after a busy day. We ate at the Botanica restaurant and had the degustation menu. It was superb. Woke the second morning to mist, rain and kangaroos out the back door.

The only screened opening window was in the bathroom. Opening the front at night would compromise privacy, therefore the only option was air conditioning on or off but it was directly over the bed.

Great suite. Extremely Comfortable with everything you would like. Pool, bikes and an excellent restaurant. First class food and sommelier helped with wine choice. Breakfast great with different options. Bikes to use and right near all vineyards.

The actual setting .. not as beautiful as other parts of the area..

Close proximity of rooms for our party was very convenient.

A wider selection of classic board games in the rooms would be a welcome inclusion given the inclement weather during our stay.

Very cosy. Restaurant is excellent, yummy breakfast. Location is lovely surrounded by vineyards and loved the kangaroos. Outside pool and hot tub is lovely, rooms well furnished
