Our room was modern, nicely decorated and very inviting. Bed mattress was firm and very comfortable. Perfect my dodgy hip and my husbands niggly back. eRemo restaurant is superb. All staff are friendly, engaging and efficient. (Especially Amity). The food & wine is delicious and all to enjoy whilst looking at the tranquil scenery. Make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to soak it all in and not have to rush out of there. The weather was a little cool for the pool but the spa was warm & extremely relaxing. We're already talking about booking again and taking some friends, so they can discover the Spicer experience.

Breakfast was really good and the location as well. The staff behind the counter were really helpfull and had a lot of tips!

I think we spend a lot of money for a nice hotel but wasn't as luxurious as expected. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff was really nice and the food was good but I was missing that wow factor. The rooms are quite basic, same as the interior outside of the rooms, it could use a bit of something extra I must say. We were also quite dissapointed not being able to use the bikes that were included, we ended up renting the electric bikes (which were perfect) but I think they should have more free options. So all and all we had a lovely stay but it wasn't worth the price we payed to stay there.

Beautiful setting, lovely friendly staff. Fab breakfast including wonderful views of kangaroos hopping through the grounds. The E Remo restaurant was very busy and we had a nice dinner.

The swimming pool area is too small. It was embarrassing having some guests on lay outs and others sitting behind on towels waiting for chairs to become available. Other guests just turned around and went back to their rooms. We also had to do this on several occasions! For the hotels’ five star rating and cost, it needs to look seriously at this issue. Our room, a King Deluxe was ok but bathroom was small. Our terrace furniture had stains and needed cleaning. This property could deliver at a much higher level but it needs more attention to detail which is sadly lacking.

We had such a lovely stay. The location was great and in proximity to other destinations and restaurants. eRemo was a delicious place to dine (their on site restaurant) and the breakfast was great too with plenty of options. Staff were friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable with a good bathroom and large shower. The pool was great but a little small for the amount of people around. Getting a daybed was hard at times. I would definitely stay here again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely amazing stay at Spicers Guesthouse in Hunter Valley! The property is stunning, with beautiful views that made the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Our room was spotless, stylish, and super comfortable. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming — they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The food and wine were exceptional, showcasing the best of the region. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the atmosphere to the service.

Beautiful peaceful surroundings, comfy bed and view from the room. The bar, sitting room and restaurant areas all take advantage of the views and are very well decorated.

Small things, but they do make a difference. The key card to our door continually stopped working & although it was great to have a beautiful breakfast included, the drinks were limited to half a glass of orange juice and one coffee, which considering the luxury service offering, seemed a little stingy.

The restaurant and the pool were great. Was a beautiful spot for breakfast especially. (I liked Botanica a little better than eRemo - more modern and better drinks menu, so am very happy it could be included in the half board option)

I loved Botanica, especially having dinner over looking the vineyard. I also used the spa at the other location. I just wish that all the facilities had been in the one location. (We picked guest house for the pool). Or even like a shuttle service between them would be nice.

- Good breakfast options and coffees etc were great! - Outlook for breakfast and dinner was amazing. - Pool was really nice. - Rooms were spacious and super comfortable.

- Waffle was a bit basic and maybe more options at the continental section. - Lack of communication around the half board dining options (needs to be clearer that you can order from the A La Carte menu - this only came to our attention upon questioning/complaint) - Not enough pool loungers.

We had an amazing 2-night stay at Spicers Guesthouse! The restaurant was unbelievably good—we dined there twice and loved every dish. Our room was spacious with super comfortable beds, and the pool was perfect for hot days, with the jacuzzi warm and relaxing for morning dips. The staff were lovely, and everything was spotless. Thank you for our hobeymoon welcome :)

The experience of Spicers guesthouse is delightful from the second you arrive at the property. The staff are outstanding in their attentiveness, attention to detail and personable approach. Nothing is too much trouble, be that the cleaners, gardeners or reception staff. The rooms are beautiful, clean and luxurious. The price is perfect, and for such a gorgeous place, the cost of food and wine are reasonable. We enjoyed every second of our stay here, and will definitely be back when we can. Thoroughly recommend to anyone.
