Our room was lovely and clean, tidy and comfortable. I liked the bed and loved the shower. These are two things that are important to me on my stays away from home. The Motor inn was very central and close to shops, chemists and club was just next door. Great. No problem with parking and the reception was very friendly.

Reception staff so friendly and informative Building may be old but clean and has everything it needs. Location was also great, convenient. We also ate at the bistro across the parking lot on one of the nights which was tasty and generally just convenient. Hot water quick to come out and water pressure great !

The walls are not the most well soundproofed but that comes expectedly with aged buildings in general I think so not really much to point out.

Fast lift. Efficient check in and check out. Off street parking. Proximity to club and shops and eateries. Comfortable bed, spacious room and very quiet.

Probably put tissue holder on wall and install a proper shelf in the bathroom for make-up, toothbrush etc and especially my glasses when showering.

This was my second visit to the Wine Country Motor Inn, the reception staff are super friendly & professional, the rooms are very clean & are very well set out, the beds & furnishings are comfy, love the big TV, love that staff turned the air con on prior to my arrival, love how it's super quiet, also love the ease & convenience of the carded entry. Lastly love how centralised the accommodation is to everything & anything :)

It's missing the little things .. those little shampoos & conditioners, the packet of cookies, no mini bar treats .. thankfully every store you could possibly need is within walking distance.

All facilities, FREE washing, powder and dryer!! Friendly staff, amazing location!

Mattress, too soft. I have a bad back so it was too soft. I sat on the side and it sank.. The key cards had to be reset a few times but the staff sorted it straight away.

Very quiet, Clean, a reasonable sized bathroom with a great shower, good size TV. Bed linen was very good.

The Queen mattress is just at its end of life and needs replacing. Pillows could also do with a little more firmness, quite flat and saggy offering little neck comfort/support.

Spacious room and separate living room and the bedroom create more space to put our stuff. Location is superb cafe and mall within walking distance. The lady at the concierge who work in the afternoon, I forgot to ask her name, she was very helpful and nice.

The bed a bit small.

We loved the space and cleanliness of the room. Plenty of room for 2 + a small child, with a cot and lots of suitcases! They were helpful finding us a taxi to our wine tasting tour and the location of the Inn to shops and restaurants was fabulous.

The only area for improvement was the cot. While we loved the fun duvet and the cute addition of a towel into the cot so he felt like our beds. There was no mattress for it so it felt like sleeping on the floor. I did managed to use a couple of spare duvets in the wardrobe to soften the base so our little one could sleep.

Room was large and spotless, we had a studio with separate lounge room. Walking distance to Leagues Club and town centre shops and 2 major supermarkets.

Continental Breakfast $17 pp I would rather get a bacon Sandwich. But I knew what I was getting. The staff were not the most friendly, they could improve that.

Practical and very comfortable for a short stay. Friendly staff, and a good location to explore the Hunter Valley. Definitely worth becoming a Social Member of the Leagues Club next door for AUS $5, saved that six times over on food & drink at members pricing. Great place to go after a long day of wine tastings. Highly recommended.
