Gorgeous decor, spacious room (we had a one bedroom king), comfy bed (very soft), bathroom has all amenities. It was close to great wineries, easy parking, staff were lovely and accommodating to any requests, food onsite was varied and tasty- we did breakfast and dinner at the hotel for 2 days. Gave us a great room for the baby- at the end so if she cried it didn’t disturb people Also- lots of animals and kangaroos nearby you could walk and see

If I didn’t have a baby I’d say nothing. The baby cot didn’t have a mattress so we had to fold blankets for it. And the main door to the room was very squeaky if the baby was sleeping. But the floorboards were quiet. The living room had glass panels so the porch light couldn’t be blocked out overnight.

We really enjoyed our stay—the room was very nice, breakfast was great, and the overall atmosphere in the hotel was calm and relaxing.

Although we really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi during our visit, unfortunately, both my swimsuit and my wife's were damaged after using them. It appears that the chemicals—particularly in the jacuzzi—caused noticeable color fading. In my wife's case, she was wearing a one-piece suit, and the fading occurred specifically up to the chest area, which was exposed while she was sitting in the jacuzzi. The rest of the suit remains unaffected, which further suggests that the chemical levels in the jacuzzi may have been too high. We wanted to share this feedback in case it helps with future maintenance or guest experience.

Beautiful property with a lot of facilities (heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, gym, tennis and basketball courts, on site pizzeria) and in close proximity to Hunter valley gardens and various vineyards. Rooms have unobstructed views of the rolling vineyards behind and woke up to see hot air balloons up against the mountains and kangaroos playing in the backyard,

The rooms/ bathrooms could do with some face lift. While clean, looked a bit dated!

While voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley is set in peaceful surroundings with beautiful gardens, it is on the edge of most of the wineries in Pokolbin. Disappointingly upon arrival, we had to wait over 10 minutes before someone arrived at reception. The room itself was very tastefully decorated and presented and clean, although, in the bathroom, greater attention could be given to base of the shower. The bed was comfortable. We made use of the onsite lounge for dinner and would highly recommend the offered breakfast.

The rooms are elevated off the ground with the floor in the room not being made of a “solid” material. While it is carpeted, it was impossible to walk on any part of the floor without it creaking loudly.

The heritage property is very unique, and very Australian. The grounds were very good, and my 10 year old daughter loved to feed the pigs and chickens. Also there wer lots of kangaroos in the nearby paddocks. The remoteness from mainstream was good, but Cessnpck was only a 10 minute drive away with lots of restaurants, pubs and supermarkets. Also Kirkron Park is very well located for Hunter Vaalley Gardens and many boutique wineries. It was very peaceful.

There was a shortage of powerpoints available in the room to charge devices. There was no lock on the bathroom door which also did not close properly.

My experience at this hotel was absolutely wonderful—I truly loved it! I stayed to celebrate both my birthday and wedding anniversary, and I was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful gestures from the hotel, including a personalized card, a small gift, a lovely souvenir, and a bottle of wine. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience even more special. Every aspect of my stay was excellent, and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in Australia. The buffet was outstanding, offering a great selection of hot dishes. I highly recommend this hotel!

facilities are amazing - you could spend a whole weekend here and have no reason to leave with so much to do onsite. Staff are super helpful and friendly and we will definitely be booking again.

The bed doona should have a closing coverlet instead of being wrapped in two sheets. This is because the sheets come apart and our bodies end up touching the uncovered doona. I'm certain this happens with many people (icky!) As well as this, the mattress dipped in the middle and as we were in a "king bed" we could clearly feel this was two single beds pushed together. This made for an uncomfortable sleep.

Food was great, all staff were friendly, grounds were well kept. Coffee, hot chocolate & drinks were great. Shampoo / conditioner / hand & body soap / body lotion was beautiful. Bedroom & bathroom decor design pleasing. Gardens beautiful. Our back balcony view was fantastic.

Air-conditioner didn’t cool room enough. Bathroom had an odd smell (around sink area), sink tap leaked while in use, bathroom needs a deep clean (wall ledge tiles & shower screen). Prefer to have a straight King bed than two beds taped together. Balcony screen door lock didn’t lock.

Beautiful buildings and grounds. Great facilities. The pool and spa were lovely. A small gym is well equipped and there is a sauna in there too. There is a tennis court and basketball court which my kids were stoked about. Great sized room, 2 very comfy queen beds, good coffee machine and lovely robes to use during your stay. Pool table, chess and other games available in the bar. Drinks and food arrived quickly and were delicious. Buffet breakfast was great, huge variety and tasty.

Room: great room. Free upgrade. Very comfy B'fast: excellent b'fast. Great selection, not over crowded Dinner: we played a board game by the fire and had the yummiest pizza. Loved it Pool area: we really enjoyed this area and made the most of these facilties

Room: shower could have been a bit bigger. Maybe more usable mirrors in the bedroom (2 of us trying to put makeup on)
