The receptionist was amazing - very friendly and helpful! We got tennis rackets for use in the tennis court which was really nice. The BBQ also looked all right and clean. The pub nearby was really good. And an additional 10% off food and drinks there when staying at Potters was great.

The apartments were quite outdated - clean but really would need some makeover. Also quite noisy. We could here the people in the next apartment laughing and talking which is not really cool. The pool would need a really goof clean - the water was milky and not really clean. Therefore the high price does not meet our expectations.

I stayed at Potters Apartments for three nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff was welcoming, and check-in was quick and easy. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We got fresh towels everyday!! The location was perfect—quiet but had everything we needed. Bistro on site was awesome! My husband was there for Rail Work and worked overnight and I worked from the room, so the wifi connection was great had no issues. My daughter loved the pool! And also had a laundry room where I was able to get my washing done before heading back home. The customer service was excellent, with friendly staff who were always ready to help. Overall, Potters Apartments exceeded my expectations, and I’d highly recommend it. I’ll definitely stay here again!

The bed was abit uncomfortable but we were able to manage! Other than that there was nothing I didn’t like!

The room was lovely and comfortable, all the amenities were great and as pictured. The whole place was beautiful, the water features, the trees and even the fairy lights for the bar and restaurant. Was excited to see the chickens roaming the grounds as well. All in all would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. Parking was pretty accessible, everything was easy to find.

I was placed in a room that had adjoining doors, the people next to us kept playing with the door. The walls seemed pretty thin as well and could hear everything they talked about, how loud the kids were and even when they were using the microwave. The smell from the water I'm assuming was a bit pungent. Apart from that, the rest of the stay was lovly.

Not having been to Potters Apartments previously we had no preconceived expectations. So we were pleasantly surprised with the apartments. Very spacious, clean, well appointed and plenty os space for car parking.

The apartment was well appointed with crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, jug and even washing up liquid and cloths and tea towels. The only constructive suggestion I would offer is that for stays of a a couple of days or more the apartments would benefit from being fitted with a small kitchenette with a sink and little bench work area.

It was very clean, which was important to us with a toddler roaming around! We had the standard queen room, which had plenty of space for a portacot. Comfortable bed, and good aircon (we happened to be there over a 36 degree heatwave!) and we really appreciated that someone had come in to turn on the aircon before we arrived at 2pm, so the room was nice and cool when we stepped in.

The pool wasn’t the best for small children, but we made do at the shallow end! The ground curves so you could slip pretty easily.

The unique design of the apartment complex ensures privacy and comfort. On arrival we were surprised by the number of people in the brewery but the noise flow into the apartment area was minimal. The room seemed to be relatively new (or well cared for) with comfortable appointments and very clean. The central location to function venues and the vineyards was also an added bonus. We will surely pinboard this venue for future visits to the area.

Could not find a negative

We loved our spa suite, the pool and the little outdoor setting for us to use it was extremely comfortable and we wished we could have stayed longer. The kitchenette was excellent for us and allowed us to prepare a few meals even with the basic kitchen equipment. We were across from the pond with water feature and loved waking up and seeing the ducks and water birds enjoying it. The pool was a big for the 10yr old as well although got a little cold for us adults after awhile.

My only wish is that the pool was heated but you can't have everything and truly there wasnt anything to complain about.

It was nice and peaceful and overall a very picturesque place to stay. Staff were lovely and very helpful and it was nice and close to where we wanted to go. The little outdoor area was great for the kids and I loved the bath/shower it made things so easy with kids. Nice big bathroom and good kitchenette facilities. Bed could have used a pillow top mattress but we all slept well.

The room was clean and tidy but there were a couple of things cleaning wise that were missed in the room but nothing that caused any great inconvenience. Perhaps the wording apartments is a little misleading as it is really only the size of a largish motel room with a good size bathroom. A lounge to sit on would have been an excellent feature but we were still very happy with our stay thank you!

We have stayed here many times in the king villa. It is spacious and comfortable. The patio is a relaxing place to sit and read. Wi-fi is good. Having the Valley Brewery pub onsite makes it easy for a lunch or dinner. The property feels like it is in the country but a 5 minute drive into Cessnock. The zoo is also close by and worth a visit. Would highly recommend this property.

We stayed in the 2 room spa villa. The room was a bit dated, bad smell when we entered the room (smelled old / musty) , the carpets could do with a clean and when we turned the spa on for the kids it shot out black dirt and a foul stench filled the room
