Rooms are spacious enough for multiple people. There is a lounge area for guests that can accommodate several large parties. The staff member who greeted us is friendly and informative. We would choose this accommodation again because it is in a quiet but convenient location providing value for money.

There are not enough PowerPoints in the kitchen area. A power board would be handy. The handles on the doors (bathroom and room) need tightening as they threatened to come off regularly and we did not have a screwdriver. Please turn the mattresses more often. Ours was very worn at the hip area.

A very clean & comfortable room.Only two small issues,firstly there was no remote control for the television in room 14 so we could not watch the news until I turned my computer on in the evening.Also the wy fi did not work in the morning at all so no news update.We could have asked the staff for a remote control but as we had just returned from a wedding at 10.30 at night we felt it would have been rude to do so,Apart from these two small issues it was quite a pleasant stay.

The cleanliness standard that the cleaners achieve is top notch . The staff were very friendly and obliging . The motel is beautifully set out for meet n greets and group visitors… very inviting.

There were not enough pillows and not firm enough because your main lounging ability is the bed . Also the king mattress on a queen base makes the edges sag but my husband and are loved the stay there and would recommend it to anyone

Able to gain early access to my room when checking in (12:00 noon). Although the room was small, it was well designed and included everything.

Water pressure in the shower was very low. The TV was set at the wrong angle. The image was very dark - needed to stand on the bed to view it successfully! The TV remote on/off button had to be pressed very hard to make it work. Would have liked to have basic washing up equipment - detergent, dishcloth/scourer and tea towel in the room.

It's was a budget hotel, so nothing fancy, but the rooms were clean and reasonably sized. The beds and pillows were comfortable The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a well set out communal area where you could take your food and eat or sofas to just relax and chat if you wanted or close to eating places to go out and have dinner. Very close to many of the places we were going to so good location wise. Good value for a budget hotel.

Everything. I have stayed three times previously and everytime I find peace and quiet. The Travellers Rest is situated off the main road along a private lane, therefore there is no traffic noise at all. Rooms are big and clean and very comfortable and clean. A large very spacious lounge is available to sit and read or talk with various individual lounge areas including a childrens space with a table and chairs. At the far end of the lounge is an area for anyone to make their own breakfast/lunch/ with a fridge and microwave, cutlery and plates. Also outside that area is a BBQ and a very quiet lawn area. I always stay there whenever I am in the vicinity and the Owners and Staff are just wonderful! Thank you, Jaime Lanndan.

Clean and spacious. The weather was hot and humid when I arrived but thoughtfully the air con was already on making the room cool and inviting. Off the main road so no noise from passing traffic

Nothing in particular. The receptionist didn't ask for photo ID on arrival or booking confirmation which I thought was unusual. No nearby facilities but only 5 min drive to town centre. Bed a little on the firm side but not uncomfortable.

My stay was excellent. Set far back along a private road, away from any traffic noise. Very quiet and peaceful. My room, containing a very large comfortable bed and bathroom were both very clean and welcoming. Also an extremely spacious, quiet lounge area for guests to relax, with several seating areas to chat or to read, with also a childrens table and chairs and toys. At the far end a separate seating area and fridge, cutlery, plates, toaster, for those wishing to make their own breakfast, plus an outside BBQ. My request for a room and my car to be as near as possible to the front door, due to heavy luggage, was very much appreciated. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Free parking on site. Free wifi. I left my bombonniere from the wedding we attended there on check out and they called to tell me and held it for me until I came back to collect it.

Some items in the room were quite outdated and bed was quite sunken in the middle. Also the water pressure is like dribbling water.

Very accomodating to last minute stays, very clean and tidy. Staff were really polite and accomodating, also well-spoken.

Nothing, besides the fact myself and my family had multiple confusions on the road with the other motel/hotel with a very similar name 😆
