Our room had both air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The room was clean and neat. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were plush and supportive to the neck. I appreciated the little things, like the touch-lamps, which ment i wasn't scrambling around trying to find the lampswitch, you just tapped the base and the light went off. The local Coles was 1 block away- an easy walk. Housekeeping came by in the morning and emptied the bins and offered us clean towels. Our room had a hairdryer, ironing board, iron, microwave, fridge and coffee machine. There was no sink in the kitchenette, so water was taken from the bathroom sink. Dishes were rinsed in the bathroom sink and left for housekeeping to properly clean (which was done promptly).

The light in the bathroom was a little confusing to figure out, and the sensor would turn the light out at inopportune moments. The small fridge took on the smell of the milkshake i placed inside. The freezer shelf of the fridge was not cold enough to freeze.

Clean and tidy - key pad lock was an issue that the owner asked our thoughts on - the round room number and the small pad attached where confusing - owner had to instruct how to use - and then asked how to better - response remove the round room number and number the pad would be easier .

Shower recess had a broken soap holder that needs to be removed - I gashed my head when washing feet in shower as I stooped back up -

Room was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. There was crockery and cutlery as well as a kettle, toaster and microwave in the kitchenette. The hotel is walking distance to Coles and shops, and centrally located in town. Really good value for money and I would certainly stay here again if I need to.

Its priced well with tidy rooms, free wifi, super convenient location with a servo, coles and a pub within a block. The staff are friendly! Its my go to stay for TAFE every 3 months. Haven't had a bad stay yet.

I would install proper lighting in the bathroom as the sensor light goes off quickly in the middle of the shower. You have to get out of the shower to wave the sensor light back on.

The price was in my budget

The fridge had no door on the freezer department so nothing would freeze, NO Ice & it was very hot outside so I couldn’t have ice in in my drink , so that was disappointing . I had trouble with the electronic key I wasn’t over thrilled with this system but overall it was clean well kept & value for money

We needed a place to stop for one night close to our concert event. This was a very reasonable price with its own bathroom. It was a simple, clean room with a fridge and a comfy bed. We were given a code prior to arrival to check in and out with. No fuss, no hassle, no drama. Perfect for a one night stay when we just needed a place to sleep.

Fantasic Place and great people, and the unit was like fresh and new, and the shower was wonderful

Only thing that could improve, was either the lights get turned off late at night, or the windows be made able to lock the light out, room was a little to light for sleeping for us.

Handy location - close to hunter valley vineyards without the price tag, close to Newcastle n the Lakes.

The pool exposed to carport (easy fix with potted shrubs) and didn't look clean. We ended up going to the local pool which we didnt expect to be available in the area, huge n very quiet, perfect.

I couldn't get accommodation in Newcastle. It was clean and had the basic need for short stay

Affordable stay in the Hunter Valley. Bus route across the road connecting to local area. Easy to access and comfortable.

Broken cupboard door and was a little bit outdated. Cockroach seen in bathroom.
