Great location. For my family of 5 including 3 kids under 4, I loved how easy things were to get too the farm was a 1 min drive, Coles was also super close and you drive past a great playground which the kids loved, the activities like hunter gardens and horse riding were also so easy to get to. For me the convenience was everything and my kids loved running around on the grass out the back of the room.

It would be great if we could organise farm activities etc at reception, more of a seamless experience.

Staff were friendly, check in really easy. Cabin was great with a beautiful view. If you have kids this is a must stay! So much for them to see with all of the animals and horse riding. Loads of space for them to run around and it’s very convenient having the restaurant on site for food and drinks but you do pay for the convenience. We will definitely be back though as the cabins were great and it’s really close to all of the main things to do and see in the hunter.

The food at the restaurant is a rip off. Charges fancy dining prices but you’re just paying for the convenience. Dinner was so average and food wasn’t even hot. When we go back we will eat elsewhere. Another thing I really didn’t like was I witnessed one of the horses get slapped in the face when getting saddled up for the carriage. The woman fully hit the horse with a lot of strength right on its face. It was very confronting to watch and made me feel sick really. If she was ok to do that in-front of everyone I can only imagine how she treats the poor horse behind closed doors. It made me question how well all of the animals are looked after unfortunately :(

Perfect location. Staff were lovely. So much to do. We walked around the farm and fed animals with the kids. Comfy rooms walking distance to everything. Food was amazing 10/10. Lots of games set up at restaurant so kids can play while dining or waiting for food.

Hot water system was very noisy when in use and the hot didn't go extremely hot. I had a shower not needing to use any cold water.

Happy that the show we wanted to see was in the same location as accommodation. The wine tasting was really good and it was very peaceful at the location. Beautiful grounds.

There were a lot of disabled people there, I had booked quite awhile before the date requesting the disabled room but couldn't get one. I could have taken my mothers toilet seat to help her get on and off the toilet but didn't think I needed it. Luckily she survived.

Loved our stay here. The views were stunning, food amazing, staff were lovely and we were close to everything. There is a library, games and brewery on site. 3 min walk from horse riding and we were able to tour the grounds as well as feed all the farm animals. Great experience for a 5yo. I also felt safe staying here as a solo parent.

The pool was freezing haha, but I hear many people will pay good money for an ice bath 😂

Great Location. Was so peaceful and convenient to everything we wanted to do. I went with my grandson for his birthday getaway and there was lots to do. Segway tours, horse riding all at location. They also have a small farm so you can feed the animals although it looks a bit tired he still enjoyed it.

The room was perfect for what we were looking for, it had everything we needed and was super close to the 4 Pines restaurant that we had dinner at- only a short walk after a beer or two

The property was stunning and the farm was so great, wish more money was put into the farm than everything else though. Would be nice to see the animals with better homes

Location was perfect - very close to nearby vineyards and all Hunter valley attractions. Farm was loads of fun for my daughter who loved her horse ride experience. There is plenty of space for kids to run around without bothering anyone. Rooms were a comfortable temperature despite it being really cold outside in the evenings.

The tvs could do with an upgrade however you don’t go there to watch tv so wasn’t at all an issue for us

Loved the grounds and facilities available to guests, our children loved visiting the farm with lots of different animals to see. We also wine theatre and tasting with my hubby whilst the kids played lego on the big table. Along with a swimming pool to play in between activities as well. Our room was cosie and comfy with an expansive backyard for the kids to explore while we rested and great for looking at the stars at night! It was a really great family friendly, relaxing wine country experience for us!

It is complete and offers activities. Ideal for group of friends and family.

The pool is not that inviting. The water does not look clean. It would be good to make this as one of the highlights during summer.
