If you're open to a brief journey from Luzern to Küssnacht (14 KM/20 min) by train, car, or even boat, this is an ideal place to stay in the region. It is more affordable than hotels in Luzern, even when factoring in the cost of train tickets for local travel, and the scenery is stunning. One side offers a view of Lake Lucerne with Mt Pilatus in the distance, while the other side features Mt Rigi. The hotel is luxurious and well-maintained. The breakfast and restaurant, especially the wine selection, were excellent. We had a wonderful stay.

There isn't much to say. Perhaps it's worth noting that the hotel did not have a staffed reception desk, in the classic way, but employees were always present and offered assistance.

Everything! Such a nice helpful friendly team and the location is perfect for so many things loved this hotel! It’s also got some history and it shows…in a good way one of the nice things was the ‘honesty bar’ where (amongst other things) you can fill up your water bottle with ice & water-perfect 👌🏻 Lovely plentiful breakfast and it has a nice little outdoor pool where the grass is full of pollinating insects minding their own business! Towels available. Definitely recommended

The breakfast was very good

We were there to do some bike tours but the hotel did not have a secure place we could keep our bikes so we had to store our bikes inside our car for the night which was not optimal. I am sure they could have found a locked room to store or allowed us to keep them in our rooms. the other thing we didn't like was that every night there were people just outside the hotel partying. The first night this went on till 4 in the morning.

Exceptional location, directly at the lake. Terrace, excellent for a relaxing meal or drink. ( The weather was fantastic for the days I was there. 28*c ,sunny.) Room, especially the shower. Walkable for the train station. The staff were all very friendly. Lunch menus.

Room wasn't ready until 16.00. Exchange rate meant it was expensive (but not the hotel's fault..most things in Switzerland seem expensive)

Very nice stay and a very big and comfy room, you can take the ferry right outside the front of the hotel to Luzern and the town is nice, this was a very nice experience! There was a lot of flies in the dining room and the staff didn‘t do anything against it, some staff was very nice but the receptionist was not the most welcoming. Would book again when visiting Luzern:))

I Did loved the location, the atmospere of the room and the hotel in general. The bed and the pillows were extremely soft. The hot water in the bathroom was amazing and I even loved the extra conditioner and the body milk cream.

I didnt like the fact that i could hear people speaking on the cooridor, and the noice of the other rooms doors when they were closing. I also expected that they will provide slippers in the room. Lastly when the staff brought the menu for the eggs during breakfast it was written only in German and they didn't even explain what was that order sheet about, i had to goole translate to understand what was written in the paper. BUT overall the whole experience was amazing and i would definately reccoment this amenity.

It’s a beautiful property, right on Lake Lucerne, in the quaint village of Küssnacht am Rigi. The views are breathtaking and the hotel is lovely. The staff were very courteous and accommodating in every way possible. The included breakfast buffet was delicious and well presented with a good assortment of choices and made-to-order eggs. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

There wasn’t anything I would have complained about.

The hotel was really pretty, with nice location close to the bus stop and just next to the lake. The building the beautiful inside & out. You can watch the lake during breakfast. The breakfast had a good variety and quality. The room was also spotless clean and very stylish, with great view on the lake and the mountains. Comfy beds.

The staff could be friendlier.

The location is exceptional - Hotel parking Spaces are limited but they are free of charge - rooms are nicely designed. Very spacious Bathroom and for more Comfort there are Coffee/Tee maker in the rooms.

The standard pillows are very soft and i saw quite late that we can ask at the reception for another type of Pillow. Breakfast Buffet is good but not really at 4Star level. Although maybe it is normal in Switzerland.

Astonishing location, nice view over the lake to the Riggi and Pilatus, nice rooms and great breakfast.

Sometimes very noisy, especially when you have a suite and there’s a party in the restaurant below. Otherwise we had ants in our room. Parking Situation is tricky, only room for 6 cars reserved for hotel guests, sometimes even the public parking lot was full.
