The entrance to this smart modern hotel is not immediately visible as it is a couple of yards off the street. The hotel has an underground garage off the street - not easy to manoeuvre our estate car round tight corners but a lot better than trying to park in the busy street outside. Check-in was straightforward and the receptionist was very helpful when we needed information. Our room was big, with a sitting area with sofa and writing table as well as the usual bedroom furniture. There was a balcony, partially roofed over, going the length of all the bedrooms on our floor with tables and chairs. At the top of the street outside is a long main road leading to the town centre. Along the road are shops and places to eat, from a kiosk serving street food to big cafes. We also found a park and an exchange office all within walking distance of the hotel .

Definitely to be recommended: nice, air-conditioned rooms (we had a balcony as well), with committed staff. We decided to extend our stay because we liked the city and the hotel very much. A definite plus is the proximity of the fruit market. The hotel can also be reached within some 15 minutes walking distance from the bus station.

A small minus is the location: it takes at least some 20 minutes on foot to get to the heart of Veliko Tarnovo, including the Gurko street. But if you like walking you will definitely enjoy this place.

Good hotel for transit, as we needed. Reasonable distance by wakling to city center (25-30 min). Secured parking in the hotel basement, opened from reception only for guests. Good quality toilleteries. Availability and promptness of the lady from the reception for easy change of the initial room we have gotten.

Pay attention when booking a room (I did not) to ask a no-smoking room. They have rooms for smokers and the smell is really bad!

I really appreciate the parking facilities.

I would like to have a kettle to be able to do a tea/coffee. It could be a bit clearer...but is a fear value for money.

Close to town by walking. Big room and bathroom. Under the building there is close parking and safe.

The air-conditioning was loud.

The coffee was tasteless and I had to pay for it!

They gave me a studio free of charge, instead of double room that I've booked earlier, because they had a group and wanted to be sure that I'd be in a quiet room. Very thoughtful! I'm thankful. Parking was a bit tight but it's free of charge too.

The room was warm, clean and spacious. There was plenty of hot water and the location was excellent.
