The location of Bolyarski is perfect because it is central - close to Samovodska, Tsarevets, and the theatre. The view of Asenevtsi from our room was breathtaking, and the terrace allowed us to enjoy it fully. The room itself exceeded our expectations with its large size, comfortable layout, and bathtub. In addition, we found the breakfast delicious and generous.

There were vent bugs that came out of the AC unit on our first night, so some extra cleaning of the vents would probably be a good idea. Luckily, they didn't bother us again. Another point is that we didn't know the sauna should be paid, so that came as a surprise.

The lady at reception when we checked in was very friendly and helpful. She was a great first impression of the hotel! The waitress in the restaurant on floor -1 was very sweet too. The room was clean, big and with a lovely view from the terrace. The location of the hotel was superb and right in the middle of everything!

Apart from the two staff mentioned, everyone else we came across seemed to hate their jobs and were passive aggressive. Upstairs in the BBQ restaurant, the waitress spent most of the time on her phone and the food was bland, I wouldn't eat there again unless something changes. Also, at breakfast there was a woman who was collecting plates and basically throwing the plates on the tray, making a very loud noise each time. Not what you want to hear when you are trying to have a peaceful breakfast! The decor in the whole hotel is also a little dated and renovations are needed in areas, but it was still comfortable.

At first I was conspicuous because the price was kind-of -a in the middle range. But it turned out to be super quality on a really cheap price. The views are stunning , the personnel did everything to accommodate me with my parking situation, cause I didn't want to leave my car on the street. The breakfast is home made Bulgarian cuisine. I will definitely stay there whenever I have a chance. Highly recommend!

There was nothing that was not superb

Great location right on the Main Street where all the tourist shops and restaurants are. Facility was definitely not renewed from some time but was clean. Visit during December and the heat worked great, to a point where we had to open the window since it was too hot in the room.

There wasn’t any AC options in the building. Which was okay for a visit during the winter, but I can’t imagine staying here in summer time, keeping in mind that the rooms are hit by direct sunlight for a good half of the day.

Room 707. Good. Spacious room, with balcony and nice view, good mattress. Central. Good breakfast and nice view !!!! Free parking.

Blackout curtains are needed. Also more outlets. In the office corner we had to remove the cable of the refrigerator or the TV for the computer !!!!!! More hooks in the bathroom are needed. The wall on the balcony, was very high and blocked the view. The bathtub is very high, 67cm, very uncomfortable!! Small washbasin 41x55 cm. Floor towel in the bathroom is needed.

Beautiful location, fantastic view! Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options: cereal, continental and English breakfast, as well as local food such as traditional cheese pie, yogurt and white cheese. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Any issues that occurred were dealt with professionally and efficiently. Thank you!

Very nice old hotel. It is a bit outdated and would need a renovation, but we had a nice stay and it was clean. The staff was super nice and helped us with our very late check-in. The location is very good and the view from our room and from the restaurant is very pleasant. They have a very convenient underground parking.

Location

Breakfast not great, no natural juice for example and you can only choose from predefined breakfast menus. Parking is not for free and reception staff make you pay the minute you enter the lobby, not waiting for check out. When you arrive after a long trip, this is unpleasant.

The hotel is located in the city centre with great views over the Yantra river. Rooms, although in need of renewal, were clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was the best we've had in Bulgaria.

Little to complain about - it was a decent hotel. A kettle in the room would be nice though...

Clean, near center, nice view, nice personal

Room 407 is very different by room 901/902 which I have it twice in 2022.. Room 407 have 2 large beds in main bedroom, not look nice.. Friday night a lot of children come there like in a bootcamp, and they make a lot of noise... very disturbing
