I liked the staff who is really nice and helpful. My great appreciation goes for the lady from the breakfast, she is really really nice and paying attention to everyone's needs, especially to children. The breakfast was very good and varied enough for my family. The room is big enough and the beds are comfortable. The view of the citadel from the hotel's terrace from the 5th floor is really great and beautiful, especially in the night. Because we arrived quite late, we got detailed instruction how to enter the hotel and to our room and how to park our car.

I think the staff forgot to prepare the extra bed for my child, as I requested in advanced and got also approved. Unfortunately we arrived after 19:00 and there was nobody from the staff to be able to solve this. The coffee at the breakfast was actually ness. Even though, I would still come back and stay at hotel Studio on my next visit in Veliko Tarnovo.

Exceptional service and hospitality! The service at this hotel was absolutely impeccable from start to finish. The manager was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. He personally helped with our luggage, assisted with car arrangements and was genuinely caring throughout our visit. It’s rare to find such dedicated and friendly hospitality these days. Highly recommended for anyone looking for outstanding service and a truly memorable stay while transiting Bulgaria! For many, this place is a transit place, as we have heard from the manager. For us, even though we also spent only one night, it was also the opportunity of visiting Veliko Tarnovo, which is worth visiting. Charming place with several things to do. What was also great for us, and for the others, we can presume, is that even though perfectly situated in the heart of the old town, the hotel offers the possibility to park, which is not easy, given the narrow streets and the lack of street parking possibilities. Breakfast was also very good, with many options, continental type.

We have nothing to really complain about.

Unfortunately, we only stayed one night in this wonderful place. The hotel is perfectly located, just a 2-minute walk from Tsarevets Fortress and no more than 10 minutes to the city center. It’s an excellent choice for tourists interested in history, nightlife, or simply enjoying long walks through the charming streets and cozy restaurants. The room was spacious, the bathroom large and modern, and the rooftop terrace offers a breathtaking view over the city. I’ll definitely come back to this hotel, and hopefully very soon!

The hotel is charming. Our view wasn’t of the fortress, but our window did lverlook a lovely house across the alley. Unsure of whether someone would be there, we kept our curtains down at night, but we opened them up during the day. Very pretty view. The room was quite nice, beds were comfortable, the air conditioner worked well after some adjustments made by our lovely receptionist. We liked that there was a mini fridge and the bathroom was modern and nice. We popped a tyre as we were arriving at the hotel and the receptionist did not leave my side until we got that three changed. She got her hads dirty and didn’t care. It was so comforting to have help in that moment. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of yummy food, teas, and coffee. Huge asset. Location is hard to beat.

Slightly outdated. The mini fridge had a bit of an odor and my kid slipped and fell on the bathroom floor (not the shower area but outside) after she got it way too wet. Just keep the floor outside the shower dry and you’ll be fine. We did need tl ask for help with the air conditioner, but that was solved quickly. No phones in the room, no biggie.

- location: view towards the Tsarevets Fortress and surrounding hills - lovely terrace where we could watch the light show from the fortress - kind and helpful staff: we had a problem with our bathroom as it was not thoroughly cleaned. I mentioned this to the receptionist and the problem was solved quickly. Moreover, due to this issue, the hotel provided us with free parking for one day. Normally, we would have had to pay. A very kind gesture from their side. - good mattresses - parking: although small (with 8 or 10 parking lots), it is great that they have it.

- cleanliness: we stayed one night, the towels and sheets were indeed clean, but the bathroom was not. The door was dirty, the toilet had urine spots and traces of feces, mold spots in the shower as well. Also, the flushing system of the toilet was broken. However, the toilet was cleaned after we made a complaint at the reception desk. Also, the flushing system was partially fixed, but my recommendation is to replace it completely. Cleaning, especially in the bathroom, should be done with a keen eye for details. - breakfast: low quality products and lack of variety. Coffee was extremely bad. - bad pillows - not very clean rug - old furniture - noise from the street, even with the windows closed (it is a busy road even during the night)

The hotel is located close to some of the main attractions of the city. The area is quiet and the view is excellent. The general appearance of the hotel is pleasant.

The breakfast is functional but quite modest. Omelet is not part of the menu. For a decent coffee you have to pay extra. There is no elevator (if you have a lot of luggage and are staying in the upper rooms, it can be quite demanding)

Fantastic view, excellent location on a small old street, a short walk to the fortress. Old (historical) building renovated with charm Parking a few meters away. Good breakfast.

small details, I leave them here, maybe the owner reads them: room 402 needs replacement of balcony windows (double glazing that lost airtightness therefore are misty), WC flushing valve needs replacement.

We stayed just one night, but we really appreciated the location, the friendly staff at the reception who gave us restaurant recomendations and also told us about the Tsaravets Fortress Lights Show that was happening that night, which we really enjoyed.. directly from our room window. Breakfast very good with lots of options.

Everything was good.

Amazing location, the view was directly to the fortress! The breakfast was nice, the entrance was very cool. Big bathroom. Generally clean, clean bedsheets. The staff was super kind especially the guy that was for the evening shift.

The toilet cover was very dirty with pee stains from previous users. The bedside table lamp was damaged and couldn’t be used. The access to the power plug for the electric water pot was difficult - I had to move the entire fridge counter. The yellow counter in the bathroom was damaged by the water and didn’t look nice. The bed covers were too narrow and too short.

This is the hotel with the best view in Veliko Turnovo!! Absolutely amazing rooftop terrace! The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean, the receptionists were very kind and friendly, we had tasty breakfast included in the price and the location is just next to Tsarevets and the Old Town. The location is superb and the parking is very close. It costs 15 BGN per day. Great value for money and I highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back on our next trip in the area.
