Breakfast is good and does set you up for the day. Evening meal was also very good. Barman makes a very good latte. Balcony is always a major plus. It was quiet and very clean. Shower was huge and very invigorating. The price was excellent for the setting.

The aircon unit took way too long to identify the room temperature to such an extent I thought it wasn't working at all. I'm sure that there were robes in the room on previous occasions which is very handy for the evening if your staying in. A kettle and coffee in the room is usually a must for me and was missing here. Fridge was positioned in a cupboard which was too close to the bed and opened the wrong way so was almost impossible to use. No instructions to set the safe code.

The rooms were clean and cozy, the restaurant had really good food with great value for money. The area is really nice.

We stayed together with our friends and booked the same type of room (advertised as being the same size) and paid the same price. Their room was twice the size and had a bath tub, ours had just a shower and was much smaller. When we asked at the reception they said there's nothing they can do. We paid extra for relaxation zone access, but there were no slippers or bath robes in our rooms. When we asked at the reception, we found out that we need to pay an extra 7 BGN/person for the bath robes. When paying extra for the relaxation zone access, bath robes should be in the rooms. Otherwise, why are we even paying extra? There was nobody at the relaxation zone asking what type of reservation you have, or your room number.

Clean, comfortable, convenient. A clean room, a firm bed. The balcony is a nice touch. Bathroom with shower (don't take it for granted in all hotels in Veliko Tarnovo). Excellent breakfast with wide variety of fresh products and fruits. Easy check-in and check-out. Fair price.

The swimming pool operating hours make it non-usable for people in transit or for people who come for business in Veliko Tarnovo.

1. We asked for a quite room. And it was quite, even though there was a party in a Restaurant. We've been offered a room far from it. 2. Room is quite big 3. Parking is good 4. Breakfast is good

1. There was a problem with hot/warm water in our room. When you turn it on, you need to wait around 10-15 minutes to be able to take shower. That was a problem

Leaving for an early morning bus, the front desk called but couldn’t find any taxis — so the front desk guy drove me to the bus station in his own car!! I was amazed at his kindness and he also wouldn’t accept any money. In addition it’s rare to find a hotel in this area with a pool and jacuzzi. Also, I noticed a huge play area for kids including an enclosed trampoline.

No refrigerator in the room. Also, during the time that the city is doing construction work on the road, it’s about a 15 minute walk through the area where they are digging.

- easy to access - free parking - quiet, peaceful location - very large room - comfy bed and pillows - clean bathroom - enough options for breakfast ( if arrive in time) - friendly people and quick service in the restaurant

- we didn't read carefully the reviews, it was our mistake - be aware that the hotel is situated 1 km or so from city center, but outside, in a forest. We had to go by car ( it is the option to book a taxi) every time we want to walk to the city and we found it was hard to get a parking place, paid or not paid.

The hotel was very responsive to question prior and post arrival, the staff all seemed to have excellent knowledge of English which is a first for us after visiting many hotels within Bulgaria. The staff were friendly and very quick to assist us with any of our requirements. The view was nice and the rooms were spotlessly clean, I'd say it's the cleanest hotel we've stayed in and we were informed by the manager that's one of the reasons for a later booking in time so the rooms can be cleaned to a very high standard. The spa area was also very clean and we enjoyed our time relaxing there, the steam room was the best we've used in Bulgaria during our many hotel visits. The walk to Veliko Tarnovo old town is possible from the hotel which is great for those staying for longer periods. The evening food was also very enjoyable and the breakfast was also the best we've encountered in Bulgaria. We will definitely be returning in the near future and hopefully for a longer period after our successful test visit. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Everything was above our expectations and we have zero dislikes to report during our short stay.

Nice location, close to city center Reception staff are nice and friendly

Pool staff are rude and unpolite. You need to beg for a drink, if you insist they will simple tell: "Can't you see I'm busy now?". I will mentione we were the only people at the pool. Pool opens very late (10 Am) and close 7 PM. For hot summer days like now that's not good, basicaly you miss the best hours.

Very well maintained, tastefully modern. Every area kept very clean. Excellently appointed bedroom. Amazing staff, so helpful and friendly. Good quality delicious breakfast. Fabulous pool area with lovely bar. Great location, easy walking to main areas of town whilst feeling like you were up in the hills. Great experience.

Everything was good!

Breakfast- buffet was diverse and delicious. Spa was as good as expected, especially the sauna was lit. Room was spotless and comfy, as well as quiet. The air was so fresh in the morning and, in addition, we saw a cute puffy cat when we opened our window.

Only /caution/ is that the floor in room's bathroom was very slippery, so hotel must do something because it is not safe when you shower. Recommendation: Spa was best post meridiem, as in the morning jacuzzi tubs weren't toasty enough.
